Trip, I can't see Lois with the pink phone either, but she wore a purple leather in "Kara," and red pleather in "Combat," so it's kind of in character, I guess. LOL

Uhm, I don't think candy apple red and purple are the same sort of sort sort of soft and feminine as pink is....

Soft and feminne is not Lois. She can hold her own in drinking contests with frat boys and is "tough as nails" future investigative reporter.

Oh, I don't know... When I was younger, I was pretty "tough" (silly bug-fearing girls got on my nerves) but I still had an extremely feminine pink and white room... In college, the same... (I once rode a horse with no saddle, while wearing a massive antebellum dress, complete with hoop skirt). But guys seemed to love the contrast. I once had a BF tell me that he LOVED the fact that I was a girly-girl tomboy.

But the whole "drink em under the table while wearing flannel PJs" thing with Lois.... THAT I can't relate to. I was with Clark... I found her to be crass and annoying. I'm glad they have given her a softer side here lately.

Now that one doesn't count. That was your favorite SV antagonist - Dawn Stiles, who picked out that dress. Even Lois was horrified at what she was wearing when she came out of it. I loved that scene.

I thought the phone looked Hot Pink, not a pastel girly pink (like they stuck Lana with in the early seasons). I can see Lois liking Hot Pink/Fuschia.

Thanks! I always liked how "girlie" Margot played that scene with Lois interviewing Superman which was so opposite of how she played Lois "the reporter" with Clark Kent.

I can't see her in pink either. As pretty as that pink dress was, she didn't like being in it and it's just not her color IMO.

Discussion in another thread on this forum (doesn't need to be linked to for this) was about Superman being "one of us" because of his emotions and his human feelings, which reminded me of this video. It's Reeve as CK/Supes, set to the "One of Us" song by Joan Osborne.
Must admit, I hated that song with a passion when it first came out, but now I do like the tune.

Anyway, I'm posting about it in this thread because I could have sworn there's another version out there with TW, but can't find it. Included pans of him landing in the cornfield, facing Lois, to "If you were faced with him/ In all his glory"; the "just a slob" was set to pix of him with his scruffy beard; Metropolis phone booth clips (with \8/ chest) for "Nobody calling on the phone," etc.

Did I dream this up, or is it out there? I figured if anyone had it, it'd be this gang. Please, please post it/link to it if you have it.

Heh. The song is a little bizarre in that context, but I did enjoy watching that. Although, pretty much all those pictures were pretty familiar - especially the Nick Castle trio pic that I made quite a while ago.

I might have to watch that again.

About that video... yeah, the song choice was a bit bizarre... but the video had some great moments... and photos of Tom always leave me a bit slack-jawed. It was sweet to see some pics of him with his wife.

Speaking of God... there are somethings in life that take your breath away... too many things to count really, that make me marvel at God's handy work. And in a way, Tom is like a work of art, that makes me think, well done!
