I am tired of the troupe of blindly jumping over a cliff (in this case a balcony) only to be be caught by your flying beast of burden. Who started that? It couldn't be Avatar.
Agreed - it's Azeroth come to lifeI like the look. It's very fitting for the property.
Jones has got two films to his name so far.
I'd love to hear what his ''look'' is from that vast body of work!

I'm impressed by how Warcrafty it feels. The look feels very appropriate to me. At least they didn't go for the tired 'gritty and realisms' approach.
So here's a question for those of us that have played (at least) some of the games (and if this has already been asked earlier in the thread - sincere apologies for asking again): Are there any of the little quirks/nods/easter eggs from the game(s) that you'd like to see in this movie?
For example.... sheep that randomly explode(as if some almighty hand from the sky poked it one too many times) or any of the unique (or maybe not so unique
) lines or quotes that some of the units say?
Or would you prefer there to not be any nods/easter eggs along those lines?
there is something oldschool about Moon and Source Code.Jones has got two films to his name so far.

But if there's one thing I'd really like to see, or more accurately hear, is WarCraft II's awesome musical soundtrack! Hearing those tunes played by a symphony orchestra would be amazing! This is the music from the game, should bring back memories for anyone who played it:
yeesh, that's some bad compositing. The depth is also all sorts of ****ed up. I didn't notice how bad that looked when i watched it on my phone.
I'm afraid this will just be one of those films that has really good cgi and some really awful cgi. Especially since jones isn't used to directing large blockbusters that use this much cgi.
Which studio did the vfx for this film?
It is a made up thing to say that every film looks gritty and realistic. It's just a flat out made up complaint.Because the over glossy orange-and-teal CG look is super fresh...![]()
