I heard that they were actually very surprised by the response.
So they assumed/expected people to be so thrilled&excited for everything about XB1 going into E3?,IF so..May have worked IF they hadn't said anything after the reveal and mention the used games stuff for the first time at E3
I think surprisingly Microsoft is going to be all about the exclusives for them. They said there are 15 in the process of being made and they've spent a billion dollars on game development for xbox one.
You think Microsoft are going to make a load of sports games?mostly sports and fps's I bet :P
But anyway...I never found the 360 exclusives that great. I guess I just don't like their game tastes.
Unless you're talking Kinect I don't know why they'd try and compete with EA, one of thier partners, in a market that they've pretty much got tied up & that Microsoft have almost no experience in.It's 15 chances for something decent. Better than if they'd said we're spending $80m on 3 exclusives in year 1. And even those could still all be Kinect games or timed CoD content. The whole "one billion dollars" and "15 exclusives" thing is completely meaningless until we know many of them are Kinect games, timed exclusives, etc.
t: Did Sony announce something? For me the exclusives may make me buy X-Box One, however i'm more byassed for PS4 because it doesn't restrct zones and doesn't make you pay in order to activate used games.
Xbox needs some major, out of this world exclusives, for me to consider getting one. With the PS4, I don't even need to know the exclusives. All I need to know is that Naughty Dog, Quantic Dream and Sucker Punch will continue to develop games for Sony.
No, but i doubt they'll make the same mistake X-Box One did, considering they don't make you pay to use Playstation network like x-box live does, but if they do have the same problem then i'll be up to the console with the best exclusives and launch titles.Did Sony announce something?
Terrible business decision that they could have probably got away with if implemented earlier. They'll never make that relatively low cost revenue back even if they sell a tonne more consoles, and especially if the next gen is a long one. Being better on Live fees, no used game fees, less adverts etc are just ways of forgoing revenue to please your customers. The same as a price cut. Sony don't actually want this as it will cost them probably hundreds of millions across the generation. Better for them would have been to emulate an unsaid price fixing type cartel with Microsoft which would benefit both particularly at launch but they've managed to do the opposite. No, but i doubt they'll make the same mistake X-Box One did, considering they don't make you pay to use Playstation network like x-box live does, but if they do have the same problem then i'll be up to the console with the best exclusives and launch titles.
