I got both the figures and they are totally compatible to make a Marvel Legends-style DR FATE by using the SENTRY figure and the DC Direct DR FATE helmet.
1. Remove the Sentry's belt.
2. Repaint with blue and yellow paints, and there ya go. Close enough to Dr. Fate! I'm not sure about how to do Dr. Fate's necklace (jean button?sculpty?) and shoulders (sculpty?).
3. Make Sentry's hair blond if ya want.

All I did was pop the Fate helmet on the Sentry head (which fits right on with ease and even stays on better than on Fate's head), and I could already picture in my mind the most kick-ass DR. FATE figure ever!

And Maybe Even Nab one or two of Dr Strange's Hands

But with the individual fingers, he can still do the devil fingers. :)

If you have a spare Vision (HA! fat chance) you could use his cape. I just think that paint on Sentry's cape would flake off or not even take purchase in the first place.

Completely off topic, so forgive me, but does anyone around here do any custom work? I have a chance to get Captain America from the Spider-Man: Animated 90's Cartoon, but his shield is ridiculously small and out of proportion to the figure....basically, i need to make the shield a quarter or half inch larger in diameter....

Let me know.

That Dr. Fate figure is basically impossible to come by.

damn...Id think it would be easier to get a ML Cap Shield and make it smaller.
