I thought of something, if WWE were to revive D-Generation X with new members, who you think would fit in the New DX perfectly?

As others have said reviving DX in the current era probably wouldn't work as they were a faction that fit with the attitude era. The Triple H and Shawn Michaels revival wasn't that great.

Saying that if I was to create a modern counterpart based off the old DX then it would be this

Roman Reigns -Triple H
Tyler Breeze -Shawn Michaels
Big Cass & Enzo Amore - New Age Outlaws
Tamina - Chyna
Eva Marie - Tori
Seth Rollins - X-Pac

Well, I was along the lines someone who can actually battle the Authority like maybe:

Roman Reigns
Dean Ambrose
Cody Rhodes (once this Stardust thing is finished)
Summer Rae
Layla

Should WWE start adding episodes of "World Wide Wrestling" and "NWA: World Championship" wrestling to the WWE Network?

I'd definitely welcome more JCP greatness throughout the week.

Only if they have the video rights.

I'm pretty sure hey have the rights. And I'd certainly welcome them adding it.

Well didn't they air stuff from atleast one of those shows on WWE 24/7?

Pretty sure they did.

I wonder if Cody Rhodes is ever going to get a big push. Rhodes is undoubtedly talented and over but seems stuck in the midcard/tag team merry go round.

- As noted, William Regal was recently named the new General Manager of WWE’s NXT brand. There’s talk at NXT that officials were not happy with Regal’s work doing NXT commentary so they gave him the new role. There was a feeling that Regal’s commentary came across as “too bland” according to the report.

NXT trainer Terry Taylor was also considered for the role of NXT General Manager, believe it or not.

- Scott D’Amore, who has worked for TNA in the past and has a key role with Jeff Jarrett’s Global Force Wrestling promotion, recently reached out to WWE looking for a job. That could be a bad sign for the GFW project as many people are starting to have their doubts. We haven’t heard of any interest from WWE.

We noted earlier this past week that the decision to book John Cena so strong on last Monday’s RAW against The Wyatt Family was made by Vince McMahon.

The internal reaction to Cena burying The Wyatts was that it was poorly thought out and short minded. However, there was the issue that they had no one else for Cena to go after, to rebound from the SummerSlam loss against Brock Lesnar.

Randy Orton wasn’t going to do it and Kane was already involved with Roman Reigns. The idea behind using Wyatt was there was a backstory.

This goes back to the lack of roster depth on both the babyface and heel side, especially when it comes to main event stars. One WWE source said it was a huge issue with Vince McMahon right now as he feels the company is not building main event stars fast enough.

They could've used Ryback. He has a history with Cena.

Yeah, especially with him going on the shelf. I just believed in Wyatt as a threat again too after SummerSlam. It was stupid.

Which is stupid. Bray didn't come out looking squeaky clean from the Cena feud as it is and the Jericho feud was essentially pointless and largely forgettable.

Crap, Solomon Crowe/Sami Calihan just had a tibia bone fracture after cutting an epic face promo at a house show.

HHH had even got him to do away with the Hacker gimmick and everything along with the fact that he's been getting over at house shows.

Also, Is the Shield the best booked wrestling faction since the Original 4 Horseman storyline?

I'd say yes, though Evolution when they started was booked extremely strong, as the Gameuhhhhhhh lived out his Horseman fantasy

When the **** did I land on Bizarro World?

I did not like reading any of this.

Once again, your sig say what I feel about your post.

:highfive:

Dem hips though...

:woot:

The only revival I would be interested in would be The Four Horseman. It could make for a great vehicle to use Flair in or even a guy like Sandow......perhaps even as a way to introduce Devitt to the fans.

But honestly, I can't trust the WWE to NOT screw it up.

I agree...I'd rather see a Horsemen revival, with Flair in the JJ Dillon role, than a DX or NWO revival. I know it has been done with Evolution in WWE and Fourtune in TNA (and others elsewhere), but I'd still like to see a Horsemen 2.0...not a tribute group like the others.

Absolutely! I'm sure they will be added eventually. I read somewhere that WWE didn't want to make everything available on day one...they wanted to have additional content to roll out as the weeks and months went on.

Ah yes, Crystal, who's husband made his TNA debut pointing on stage as Kurt Angle laughs like a crazed maniac.

Actually, Kristal and Lashley were never married in real life...just in TNA's storyline. They're no longer a couple, but they do have two children together.

The way Bray was booked last week was absurd. Nolan's right, he already lost his feud with Cena, and the feud with Jericho wasn't what it should have been. Booking him in that manner did him no favors.

I understand that Vince wanted an upper-level star to "sacrifice" to Cena, and WWE is sorely lacking in that department right now. But, in my opinion, Cena should have been off of tv selling his beating at Brock's hands for another week or two (not necessarily selling the physical effect it had on him, but the emotional/psychological effect...Cena should not have been seen for a few weeks, unless it was an interview from his home or vignettes of him training Rocky-style)

Also, if you are complaining about not creating stars fast enough, why are you "sacrificing" one of the few young stars that you have made?? If Orton wasn't going to do it, it should have been someone like Kane. Not a top star anymore, but still pushed as a monster.

If Vince is concerned about not having made any new stars, then maybe he should think about all of the stop/start pushes and 50/50 booking that have become commonplace in WWE.

Also, Is the Shield the best booked wrestling faction since the Original 4 Horseman storyline?

Yes. They kept the group small (though I, personally, wouldn't have minded one more member...but definitely no more than that), so it avoided the over-bloating problem that the NWO ran into. Every member was unique and brought something different to the group. They didn't lose for a long time, and even after they got their first loss, they didn't lose a lot on tv. Theirs was the most impressive debut, followed by a sustained push that I can recall in quite some time. WWE got this one right for the most part, as evidenced by the individual success each member is experiencing now.

I like the nWo for being big because most stables usually aren't so large, like an invading army. Heel stables are usually a nuisance but manageable. The nWo was one of the few I can think of that forced an entire company into submission.

Too bad D-Generation X wasn't around when they came to WWE, that would've rocked the house right there!!!!

The REAL DX was the original. In retrospect, the post WM14 DX were nothing but pandering dufuses haha.
