I've never really had a major issue with Maybe until yesterday, even though his fake scoops are fun to joke about.

But I personally don't care about the correctness or incorrectness of "scoops" I read on the internet. I take everything with a grain of salt anyway, even if the person has a good track record for honesty. So Maybe has never gotten under my skin like he has with some.

But yesterday, I think he crossed a line. I can forgive him being lame and trying to get attention through fake scoops. I can even forgive him being lame enough to start a twitter war over a message board that is simply pointing out his inaccuracies.

But I can't forgive him being so lame that he tried to used gestapo tactics to get his naysayers banned from a site he's got nothing to do with.

He deserves no respect from anyone and needs to get a life.

I was referring to the SHH article, that used their own anonymous sources to "discredit" Mayimbe's anonymous sources. If I had a "scoop" and another site came out and said I was wrong because they had mystery sources who denied it, I would be a little irritated. And all this on top of the fact that studios deny stuff like this all the time, and it often turns out to have been true all along. So both SHH and Mayimbe are guilty of sensationalizing their own "scoops".

Are we talking about the Spider-Man scoop? Because if so, Da7e posted that source. Yes... the same Da7e who bought the URL for a fake movie.

So please..... if you must bash someone, bash the right person.

That said, El Mayimbe is still a hack with delusions of granduer.

I don't know if he's bad or not but as someone who represents this site, I would have expected more loyalty on his part. As far as I know, us forum people he has nothing to do with are allowed to have our opinions. It just so happens that the consensus opinion is that El Mayimbe is a loser. I don't know, if I ran this site I wouldn't be ok with some outsider going on twitter and talking crap out the people who visit my site and have been very loyal to this site over the years. But hey, you know, that's just me.
