One thing I didn't expect, when killing people as a werewolf, is there was a special random animation that makes you pick up an opponent and bite his/her head off. That is all.

Yeah, I've been killed by those giants twice. And yeah, I fly away.

Has anyone killed one yet?

I helped killed one when I first got to Whiterun. It's how I met the companions and the future Mrs. Dovakin. :hrt:

so......just to clarify about the XBOX version, if I DON'T install the game to my hard drive ( which I never do, anyways ), then I won't have any of the texture issues. correct?

and other than that issue, the XBOX version is equal to the PS3 version?

Installing the game to the hard-drive loads better but gives worse textures from what I understand.
The textures tend to be pretty iffy anyway regardless.

The first time I killed a Giant was weird. I was northwest of Riften and going towards this icon to discover it, all of a sudden a Giant appears and attacks me for no reason. I don't think Giants are supposed to be in that part of the world. I killed it and went to the map marker. It was a camp of Orcs which were all dead. I think the Giant killed them. After I killed it, I couldn't wait or fast travel because for some reason, a goat was nearby and somehow marked an enemy.

Not when you're surrounded by them. One-hit killers.

When you are a rogue with higher level sneak and higher level alchemy you can pretty much one hit them. At the max sneak level you can just crouch and it resets them seeing you.

Hmm, I'm still debating on whether onot I should join either the Companions or the Stormcloaks. Hmmmm....

Imperial vs Stormcloaks is the War. The Companions are just the Fighters' Guild.

Wow...there's already over a hundred mods for the game.

I kind of like the FXAA/textures mod, but I think i'll wait for the official high res texture mod.

I have my game on installed on the 360 and I've yet to see a texture issue. Just got my smithing up to 100%. Dragon Bone armor ROXORZ!

The textures aren't too great either way. I don't think you are missing out if they are lowered in quility slightly, at least your loading will be improved.

Found a mine that is just over flowing with Orcish ore. Now I'm gonna make me a sick suit of armor!

thanks. but if there are no other real differences between the 360 and PS3 version, then I think I'll stick with the PS3 version........looks pretty good to me......lol

btw......if I choose Breton as my race, does that mean I'm restricted to playing a mage character?

can a Breton be turned into a viable sword and shield warrior, or a battlemage/paladin, warrior-mage hybrid?

Not really. It's not like Oblivion where you have to carefully plan your race, class, etc. Whatever skills you use most will be what levels up and allow you to unlock more perks in that skill.

If your on the pc it's worth turning the field of view up.
The default is more suited for consoles were you sitting a few feet away. 85 seems to work well.

Yup. You can play however you want. Your race really only affects how quickly certain skills level up, if I'm not mistaken. But like Spidey-Bat said, which ever skills you use most will be the ones you can rank up faster.

So yes, you can be a Breton warrior mage.

Also, after walking away from the game for two days (GASP!), I'll be jumping back in tonight. Looking forward to it (and hoping that nasty difficulty bug is absent when I launch the game; that was infuriating).
