Come on Bethesda...at least give PS3 owners Hearthfire. I want to adopt me a boy and a girl to my family!!! My in Game husband who is passively aggressively happy in my Markarth home will really love having little rugrats bothering him all the time.

Hahaha! :D Awesome.

I wonder, I've yet to adopt kids (still building my house) but do the spouses interact with the children at all? The only two accounts I've read said that their wives/husbands were largely indifferent to the kids. Is that true with all spouses, or do some of the marriageable characters just lack the programming?

I think Heartfire should be easier to do for PS3...but what do i know...

I think Beth/Sony just wanna wait until they can solve the issues with all of the DLC's so far.

But that poor little Blond girl in Honorhall is making me feel bad! She keeps begging me to adopt her and I want to but they won't let me. :(

I don't think that's p[ossible, even with Heartfire, but i don't know for sure since i've just strted heartfire myself.

But it might be possible on PC....i saw a couple mods for adopting children since Heartfire came out.

I have read that you can adopt the kids in Honorhall with Hearthfire as well as the urchins wandering around in a few of the cities. All I want is to adopt that little blond haired girl from Honorhall.

It'd be funny if you could adopt Aventus Aretino, that twisted little kid would really love the Dark Brotherhood sanctuary in Dawnstar. I'm sure he and Babette would get along great.

I *think* this is the full list of kids you can adopt after downloading Hearthfire. Personally I'm aiming to get Hroar and Sofie.

Adoptable Boys

Alesan - Dawnstar
Blaise - Katla's Farm
Francois Beaufort - Honorhall Orphanage
Frodnar - Riverwood
Gralnach - Heartwood Mill
Hroar - Honorhall Orphanage
Samuel - Honorhall Orphanage
Skuli - Old Hroldan
[edit] Adoptable Girls

Britte - Rorikstead
Braith Whiterun
Dorthe - Riverwood
Lucia - Whiterun
Runa Fairshield - Honorhall Orphanage
Sissel - Rorikstead
Sofie - Windhelm
Svari - Solitude

My Skyrim is fixed again!! This time it was not even a glitch, just my idiocy! I couldn't talk to Garan in Dawnguard all this time but just had to revert to human form (which I didn't know was possible). All good now and back on to completing Skyrim.

dragon mount looks awesome, but i wonder what else it has to offer

Excellent, can't wait. I'm liking Dawnguard but this looks (& sounds like it's going to be) more impressive.

Ahh, I see 'Spideyfan already posted about it yesterday haha...late to the party, am I!

Speculation is that it's called "Dragonborn". I wonder, perhaps this is some kind of Anti-Dragonborn? Like another one, but a bad one. Possibly even a high elf. I'm really hoping we get to deal with the Thalmor threat at some point.

Alternatively, could there be more to being the Dovahkin than stopping Alduin?

I was right!

*trips over himself bursting in the room*

Haha! I knew it! Nega-Dragonborn!

Looks superb! I'm very excited. New areas, new enemies, new story, new features. All good! And it's only a month away. Very cool.

I hope the new big bad is stupidly powerful. It'd be neat if they somehow leveled the character to match your own. My two main characters are levels 42 and 32 respectively, it doesn't seem like there's much around to harm them. Another Dragonborn, especially the first Dragonborn should be at least as powerful as the player character, if not more so.

did they ever add white horses in Skyrim??

I've seen some white horses in some vids, but I don't know if that is due to a PC mod........

Wow, new DLC looks sick. Let the Dragonborn rumble commence!

I just thought, the timing of this works out really well story-wise for my current character. Defeated Alduin, put a stop to the vampire nonsense. Now he's building a home, going to adopt a couple of kids, live a life of relative peace (there's still bandits and his duties as the Companions leader) but little does he know, some new grand threat is on the rise.

Can't wait!

haha yeah...couldn't have said it better myself. The storyline sounds like a good old fashioned western tale. The hero forced out of retirement because of a new threat...

That's a great way of putting it, I love those "pulled out of retirement" stories!

hehe..well, if you've done everything on Skyrim, and currently only busy with heartfire, then the Dragonborn is more or less retired. He/she retreats to a secluded mansion, and even got a kid...so...

it would be nice if us PS3 players could play some of the awesome DLC.......just sayin...........

^^ i'm positive it will come.Don't worry.

And James....looks like you will be getting this-along with others XBOX users-a full month ahead of us, so keep us posted on the 'The dragonborn Returns':oldrazz:

Damn, are Xbox players getting it a month in advance again?

I'll be sure to write my spoiler-free impressions come December 5th!
