It most likely will not. An image of the back of the box was put up on Amazon that said Trophy support, but that image was removed and from what I can gather a Bethesda rep said no trophies in their forums. Which is a shame, it can't be that hard to implement that stuff.

The 360 launched with achievements, the PS3 didn't add trophies until 2008. Oblivion came out before trophies, and not every game retroactively put them in. Metal Gear Solid 4 still doesn't have them either.

I'm not. It's just that mods made Oblivion 10,000 times better than on the 360. Saves are faster, bugs are easier to fix, mods can do so many convenient things like add map markers for the runestones and wayshrines (very helpful in the Knights of the Nine quest), plus you can use cheats! I also found using a mouse and keyboard so much easier than controller, especially in the inventory menu when you got so much stuff later on.

I read that Tod fellow was trying to bring mods to consoles. Problem with that is legal issues, alot of the stuff used in mods in basically copyrighted.

I was hoping that it's since a re-release that they would have implemented trophies. Didn't Sony say any game that comes out from a certain point on WILL have trophies like... a few years ago? They should make Bethesda do it... shouldn't be hard.

If we ever get a "subsistence" version of MGS4, I also expect THAT to have trophies.

Sony said sometime in 2009, maybe VERY early 2010 that EVERY game here on in would have trophies. It was mandated. So, if any of those games got a re-release, I would expect the developer to put trophies in it.

So... I think it's dumb if they let a trophiless Anniversary Edition slide.

Only if the game was originally developed for XBOX and then ported to the other. But that's typically true no matter which way you go.

I already have GOTY so I'll wait on Skyrim too. I really enjoyed Oblivion and Skyrim looks to be even better.

The 360 launched with achievements, the PS3 didn't add trophies until 2008. Oblivion came out before trophies, and not every game retroactively put them in. Metal Gear Solid 4 still doesn't have them either.

Yea i know all of that.

I made a mistake, i thought you were talking about Skyrim not having trophies. Thats why i was confused.
