So I am now caught up. Wow. Nice run of episodes they are having here. from the mysteries to what the show is really all about, the character relationships, this thing is humming along great. This last episode was great at again peeling the layers back on our protagonists.
I just really loved that unlike so many surly main characters in entertainment today that the writers are neither excusing nor celebrating Holmes' piss poor interpersonal skills. His overall demeanor DOES have an effect on the world and the people around him, and just cause he is smart and usually FACTUALLY correct, does not excuse his manner of interacting with people. Bravo show. Nice change of pace.
I do think I would like to see less, NYPD case of the week stuff and more, exotic shall we say, cases? I would love a stretch of stories about how Holmes is a commodity amongst the powerful and elite, if only to explain how Joan still can afford all her cute outfits. So looking forward to what the finale will be.
