I'm not sure what we're supposed to be seeing in that video. She hardly speaks in it (the guy does most of the talking) so there isn't much acting on her part anyway. I've seen her with more range than that in clips where she does talk more. There was one where she was doing a British accent perfectly, and some others. I'm not saying she is the greatest actress, but your clip doesn't prove she is bad or good either way.

If she wore green contacts, had dark red hair and fully brought on the fun sassy personality of MJ, there wouldn't be many people saying she is not perfect for Mary Jane.

In that clip she has her natural hair colour a light red/ orange color, I imagine for the film she would have dark red and perhaps be wearing contacts to get the green eyes.

I swear, if she was done up as MJ and took on the role, she would be the best MJ ever. I mean hey, she knows the character so well since she said on Twitter she grew up reading Spider-Man comics.

I wanted Dianna Argon for the role of Gwen. She was perfect for the role. I know for a fact Emma was promised a place in the the movie.
Just because I want Elena Satine for the role of MJ what is so wrong with that?

And yeah, please don't consider Mia Whatever for Spider-Man, she was awful in Alice and I don't need to see her 10 year old ass anywhere near this.


Elena is an example of someone who looked like MJ from the comics, in terms of, how John Romita used to draw her.

You hunt the internet looking for good pictures of Elena, then you hunt the internet for awful pics of Emma to compare. If that's not bias I'll be damned. And then you've said multiple times that Emma can only play the party girl and not the sweet girl that MJ really is. So you're saying she can only act one way, and that means you're saying she's a poor actor in some regards

And then later on in the Gwen/MJ thread you said Emma's head shape was all wrong. HEAD SHAPE. Unless she has the head shape of The Elephant Man or Jay Leno, that doesn't matter!

Apparently the casting process involved looking for actresses for both characters and the studio was really into Stone for both characters. But as the search elongated, Columbia decided to focus on the more important role, Stacy.

According to sources, Mary Jane will not appear in the first movie.

LMAO "TV ACTRESS through and through"???!!! She has done 2 guest stars on TV....that's FARRR less TV then Emma Stone has done. That's a whole less TV than MOST actresses have done. Elena has major roles on SONYs "Just Go With It" with Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston and NIcole Kidman, and just landed one of the leads in FOX's sci-fi $100+mil "I'm.Mortal" opposite Justin Timberlake, Amanda Seyfried and Cillian Murphy.

She is a BAFTA NOMINATED actress with a BA from Julliard.

You may like Emma Stone...but let's not be delusional about the fact that she started from a REALITY show....has done COUNTLESS Guest stars, failed Pilots and TV shows, and has since played the same character in every movie she's ever been in. She is a "teen star" like the kids in Twilight, Gossip Girl, etc...whether or not she will be able to make a transition into adult roles is yet to be determined; where as Elena went the most prestigious acting school in the world to study her craft (and they don't just accept anyone, Julliard is nearly impossible to get into) has done theatre both on Broadway AND West End...and is now working her way up.

5 years from now, i see Elena doing great grown up movies, like Emily Blunt Rebecca Hall, Jessica Chastain etc...

5 years from now i wouldn't be surprised if Emma Stone has fizzled out and doing whatever it is that Kirsten Dunst is doing now...

I'm not trying to trash Emma Stone, I'm just stating the facts.
There are people out there who think Meryl Streep is a bad actress and Keanu Reeves is great....so, to each his own...

P.S. Diana Agron is a "TV ACTRESS" yet she can act CIRCLES around Emma Stone IMO.

This is the role (this is all I could find online)...she played an American Heiress posing as a French Countess with a chronic illness who suffers the loss of her young niece. It was a beautiful film with an amazing ensemble cast and she gives a riveting and layered performance.

Like I said, different strokes for different folks; but I find her to be extraordinarily talented and a chameleon.

You posted an "excitable" first post here. Someone suggested that you were a regular poster just using a new name. You responded to that by calling him a crude name. I told you there was no need for that kind of talk. You then responded that I needed to correct a site glitch. I responded by telling you that I don't work on tech issues but rather with issues such as trolls (and used a winking smilie to denote a lightheartedness joking tone with the post). Your response to that is to accuse me of calling you a troll and suggesting I can't do my job.
