What they should do it put an insert like they do to promote comics in the back of regular comics to promote each NextWave mini as it comes out.

Sometimes, a small group that continually brag about a book makes me realize it's as good as they say, like with Checkmate. But, Nextwave just isn't that good. (And, showing that one picture of Cable with a big gun is akin to getting some good laughs from a movie preview, like with School For Scoundrels, then seeing the movie and realizing all the good stuff was already shown to you.)

As Darthphere said, "why didnt Marvel give The Thing a series of minis?" That's the true injustice!

Agreed, man, agreed.

But maybe it's because Slott can't handle more than 2 ongoings at a time and he's supposed to be doing this "big ongoing project" thing after CW wraps in '08, and he still has SHE-HULK to write? Plus that JLA CLASSIFIED thing is comin' soon...

Unfortunately, Ellis just can't get the characters to act within their own history.

That would give me something to work out my frustrations on, at least. I'd create a mound of torn-up inserts within a couple of weeks.
