Daredevil Elodie Yung IS Elektra!

I loved Elektra this season, a big step up from her big screen counterpart.

While I don't think her fight scenes were bad, they didn't have me salivating at the mouth like i thought they would be. I think they didn't really give her any type of distinctive fighting style as opposed to say someone like Sara over on LoT, who i think had better fight choreography.

By far and away my favorite part of this season, her and Matt have insane chemistry. I am so glad for the final scene because I got really scared for a second there.

Elektra is the Black Sky nonsense REALLY doesn't work for me at all.

Pity because I loved Elodie and Elektra started off really good. But, in the end, Punisher ended up being far more captivating and I'm far more interested in seeing more of him right now.

I think they should have created their own character instead of using Elektra, having some fears for season 3 right now.

Yeah, her backstory is compelling enough as is. This just feels, kind of lame really.

Yeah, I found her choreography much better than the CW heroines' as well.

Elodie Yung is a black belt in karate so I expected her martial arts skills to shine in the show.

Elektra was fantastic. What a fun character and Yung nails the Elektra from the comics.

Yung and the show nailed Elektra and her unstable relationship with Matt. My only complaint was

revealing her to be a Black Sky last minute.

The writers could've executed that better and dropped hints earlier in the season. Look forward to her character and the role she'll play for a future season.

I didn't think the Elektra plotline was as compelling as Punisher's, but Elodie was amazing as Elektra. I've never been much of an Elektra fan to begin with, but her performance really made me care about the character.

I know she's a lot different personality wise from her comic counterpart, and I get why Miller says "that's not his elektra" but I enjoyed her a lot. It was a fun take on her character.

And the outfit Melvin made her was amazing

I liked her costume at the end, but just like DD in Season 1, I got used to her simpler proto-suit.

Never really cared much for the Elektra character before but her and DD really played well of each other even if I was more emotionally engaged by the Punisher story but thats not to say it was bad more just how awesome Franks was.

Yung was the perfect blend of good and bad and walked the line perfectly, loved the episode where they broke into the guys house and smashed it up, she was able to manipulate Matt into doing stuff he wouldnt usually do which from my limited knowledge is sort of exactly what she does, so as far as I can tell they nailed this character too. Looking forward to seeing more of her.

I know right? Miller has become the grumpy old man yelling at kids to get off his lawn.

It was an inferno. They had soo much energy. They never missed a beat...I was a bucket of feels during the "I'm the Black Sky Matthew; And I'm the Devil of Hell's Kitchen" scene.

Elodie Yung was 10x better than Jennifer Garner as Elektra. They should have made her a little more mysterious. I feel like she would be a better Psylocke or Lady Shiva.

Miller only said that because he didn't write her. This is his Man Without Fear Elektra so he has no room to complain about inconsistent characterization (plus, I doubt he watched the show to see her anyway).

It was interesting to see the similarities between the color schemes of the costumes of Elektra and the Hand ninjas. Maybe we'll see Elektra with a red costume that is similar to her comic counterpart but akin to Nobu's first suit.
