Elon Musk Buys X (formerly Twitter): Just Use Bluesky, Threads, or Mastodon Instead

Again, there is no way he and Trump can be in the same room together without one of them going diva and wanting the other gone.

He just doesn't want to pay any taxes on his wealth, that's all.
The US is in a legit second Gilded Age and this ******* doesn't want to share his wealth to help fund social programs such as universal healthcare, universal child care, and tuition free college.

What’s more, Pineda has since discovered that the footage captured by her car in Sentry Mode has reportedly been wiped from the car’s memory, meaning that no footage of her and Ortega attempting to open the car to rescue the child remains.

I had to delete my remaining accounts today. I was on Twitter from 2009 onwards, but there's just no point staying. The rampant right-wing propaganda, the constant use of slurs, the contentious atmosphere that permiates every discussion... It's a nasty place. It's so much worse technologically too nowadays, even the usually reliable search function is somewhat cooked. And all the damn bots, everywhere. It's impressive how Musk has been able to destroy every facet of a once beloved platform.
If you already have Instagram, try Threads. If not, Bluesky.

Mozilla killed their Twitter competitor. I mean yeah they really didn't do anything with it.

Musk looks like that minus 100% of the Muscles.
And its wild looking at recent pictures of him and then for example when he bought twitter and walked around with a sink because he thought he was funny.

You can literally see how being chronical online and around insane right wingers, did a number on him physical too.
Flexing that Rescue teams cant get to a person trapped inside that car...a car that is known to break down, starting to catch fire etc, is a wild thing to do.
Like, how does someone even think about that this is a good flex?

I mean, there's still some good things on Twitter if you know where to look, but you're right, it's mainly just right-wing propaganda for the most part. Threads is a lot better.

Right, because the Cybertruck has such a stellar record of not randomly breaking down.

Conspiracy theory Musk has a deathswitch will resonate with the idiots in our country more than the fancy truck is a piece of crap.

Yeah, it's a really great feature in a car, if you're trying to accidentally cook the person trapped inside it.

Some of the world’s largest companies have been accused of undermining democracy across the world by financially backing far-right political movements, funding and exacerbating the climate crisis, and violating trade union rights and human rights in a report published on Monday by the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC).
