What if Bruce Wayne decided to inspire hope in the citizens of Gothem instead of fear in the criminals?
Joker: Clown Prince of Justice:
In an alternate reality, Bruce Wayne was driven insane by his parent's death. He became a criminal mastermind called "The Bat Man". The Cities corrupt Cheif of police, Gordon is in The Bat Man's pocket. He also has an assistant known as "Night-Wing"
Now, a man named Jack Napes wanted the Bat Man gone and went after him. But he was thrown ito acid. However, Napes survived, as the Vigilante known as the Joker. This Joker is remenicant of Rorschach from "Watchmen": he wants justice but he is so insane that he will kill to get it.
the bizarro world was created by bizarro so he could have a world to call his own beside if superman HADN'T come to earth first bizzaro couldn' be an imperfect double of him to begin with?

Isn't he suppose to be doing both![]()
Kinda. But what I think he means is "What if he took more the Superman route, and became more of a public figure, than trying to scare the bejesus out of the underworld."

i kinda would like to see a gotham city where bruce's parents live and there's no batman. Sort of like jla: The nail. It would be interesting to see what happens to tim, selina, dick, barbara, james gordon etc with no batman to inspire/help them. Would crime completely take over gotham? Would bruce be corrupted by all the vices? Would there be a joker, two-face, kiler croc or any other bat-villans? Would there how would bruce interact with the jla and the dcuniverse? It's a very interesting story and i think it'd fit a 12-issue maxi series.

That was my first thought, too.
I always thought the idea of a "World Without a Batman akin to JLA: The Nail would be downright fascinating and a blockbuster sales. It's the kind of story that would get people reading comics like crazy. I'd probably buy every issue.Very good. I actually would love to read this, or hear ideas about how it.
Just sort of throwing these ideas out there.
I'd love to hear what other people think would happen if Bruce Wayne never became Batman.Lets see, Bruce Parents (didn't they teach him to be such a good person even though he was super rich?) so even with his parents alive he wouldn't be corrupt. And he wouldn't have to be pretending to be because there wouldn't be a Batman he had to cover for.
I think Alfred would have been like an Uncle figure to Bruce.
Bruce's parents probably would have donated time and money to helping clean up Gothem. But the streets would still be run by criminals.
Bruce, because of his parents, would have gotten involved with helping clean up crime. This would have brought him in contact with Gordon.
But without Bruce to take him in Dick Grayson wouldn't have become robin or Nightwing. But would he have become a vigilante still? Maybe Gothem's first protector?
These are just some random thoughts. Don't know if there is a story in there, or if they are any good.

And yet Another Nial. [BLACKOUT]Flat tire, for those who don't know, is how the Kents end up not finding Clark.I'll try this on for size. Warning: LONG POST.
So, the folks end up getting a flat tire and can't make it to that showing.

So, the folks end up getting a flat tire and can't make it to that showing. They turn around, and go home, never getting mugged and killed. Bruce grows up, as per usual, and ends up with a more positive outlook on life. He graduates high school pretty high in the class, and tours the globe before going to college, since he's not sure what he wants to focus on [outside of business management, to help his dad with WayneTech], learning all different kinds of cultures and hardships and struggles. Of course, he's much richer for this knowledge, and he wants to help them. He decides to set something up via WayneTech to help them however he can. He also wants to do as his father has, and help the community around him, but he has yet to figure out how.
When he comes back, he finds out that his father has made friends with the police commissioner Jim Gordon, and that they want to introduce him to his 18 year old daughter, Barbara. They meet, and get along great. They start to get romantically serious, and this is perfectly fine by both sets of parents, of course. Thanks to calling in some old favors, Martha [Bruce's Mom] scores some tickets to the traveling circus' opening night. They end up going, and it's that night that the "Flying Graysons" wish to debut a new trick. It must be sometime really impressive: Daily Planet sent two of it's best all the way from Metropolis. The date goes great, and they're having a blast. Suddenly, something goes wrong, and the Graysons start to fall....only to be saved by Superman. Bruce and Barbara, having never seen anything like this up close, are completely in awe. The family is saved, the people respect him, and the kids LOVE him: he's a hero!
That night, Bruce and Barbara end up checking with the teenaged kid who almost became an orphan. Turns out Ricky Grayson is just an enamored with Superman as any 13 year old would be. They get along great, and part ways, with Bruce telling Ricky to drop a line. They keep in touch as well as they can, and all is well until Ricky's parents die in a car crash. Bruce offers to take the boy in, but Ricky's having a hard time dealing with it, so he'd rather be with the family he knows right now. A few months down the line, and the circus closed due to hard times, and everyone had to scatter, even the Crocodile Man. Ricky takes up his offer, and moves into the House of Wayne, where he studies hard, and decides to take up some martial arts as an exercise.
Time passes, and Bruce and Barbara get married. Bruce ends up taking over more of WT's day-to-day routine, but still can't figure out a way to help the community in a more personal way. And it hurts worse, because every day, he hears more on the news about these nasty rogues, like The Red Hood, that cat burgular and this Falcone person. And then there's this new TV Doctor talk show called "Dr. Harleen Presents....", where the blonde doctor tries to break down the actions and thought processes behind some of these nefarious individuals.
There's a bit of a marital problem, however, when Bruce and Barbara can't seem to have a baby. As it turns out, there's a problem with Bruce's sperm, and he's sterile. This crushes Bruce, because he loves kids.
And then it hits him.
He decides to start a new side business, which is basically entertainment for the kids of the area. He gives Ricky [now Rick, aged 18], a job as entertainment for these parties. Remembering the night Superman saved him, Rick decided he wanted to be a "Superhero" for the kids. So he tries, can't come up with anything, until he sees a bat, and decides to be a Bat-Man. He fashions a costume [similar to the one we know as Adam West Batman], and entertains terminal kids in the local hospitals. As Bat-Man, Rick visits sick children, makes appearances at local charity events such as the "Flora are our Friends" held by Dr. Pam Isley, and the like.
In short, Batman still exists, but as a beacon of hope, not a signal of fear for those who wish harm.
Opinions, please. I kinda like this one myself.
:facepalm
You clearly don't understand the point of this thread.LOL...what it looks interesting...
Well that's kind of what happens during 52. He's much more of a selfless hero now than ever before. It only took Max Lord's Betrayal, Ted Kord and Boosters sisters death, and a trip back to the future.Elseworlds: Booster Gold with a Different Motivation
Booster Gold travels back in time, same Booster, same level of intelligence and skills, only his goals and intentions are different.
Booster, instead of wanting fame and fortune, travels back in time to use his knowledge if the past to save the day.
From day one, as soon as he gets to the past, Booster tries to stop crimes and disasters and save the day.
Only he is the same Booster so maybe it isn't as easy as all that, and maybe he just keeps messing things up or altering the future.
So even though he has good intentions and is a true hero at heart, Booster Gold is who he is and not much would have changed.
Guest Starring SKEETS, Blue Beetle, and maybe some of the JLI.
