I the last part kinda got me confused with previous info I've read before and brought up a lot of doubt regarding the info. BUT I just thought I'd share it with you guys!

I didn't realize what was on the very bottom of that page, wondering what you guys were talking about...
That info makes me believe none of this... It's too "Shocking", you know... someone is trying to get a rise out of the fans or I am going to have some problems with this film after all.

I'm a bit confused as well.

I've read two things:

Someone smashes it with an axe.

Someone smashes it with a gun.

Both presumably being done by Gordon.

I'm still not sold on that idea either. My only guess would be that someone else(maybe Two-Face) turns it on to get Batman to come into a trap but Gordon smashes it to keep Batman away.

sounds so fake. David Goyer even mentioned that he didn't like the fact that Joker died in Burton's Batman. Why would he contridict himself here?

I've always believed that it only seems that joker dies at the end of this movie, but he's not really dead.
