I liked his performance in Phantom of the Opera, but I never saw 300. Watched the trailer a couple of times, and it just wasn't my type of film. I really don't know if he can pull off the combination of badass and silent compassion that Kurt Russell brought to the character. Speaking of which, I'm still waiting for Paramount to give Escape from L.A. a proper DVD treatment...

the kid from Accepted surprised me. he seemed like one of those actors who would always be stuck doing the same kind of movies (dodgeball, and accepted) but he managed to do a great job in this movie.

I am really happy with Wisemen

I don't think they have much of a chance of duplicating the feel of the original, so if they go for a balls out action movie with the premise of dystopian new york, and Gerry Butler I think they can make it sweet
