Eternals and Inhumans' MCU Return Get Hopeful Update From Kevin Feige

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige remains optimistic that fans will see the Eternals and Inhumans in the MCU again.

I'd add the Eternals in Secret Wars and Doomsday, and introduce the Inhumans in The Fantastic 4: Second Steps.

Gosh, yes. I would absolutely love to see another Eternals movie and the Inhumans in the big screen. I'll take those two over most of the projects that have been announced/rumored. I was pretty bummed when the Inhumans movie was cancelled. However, with the mouse acquiring the rights to the X Men and F4 I don't see an Inhumans movie happening anytime soon.

I'm eager for a Eternals 2, Doctor Strange 3, Blade/Midnight Sons(Suns), Inhumans, Shan Chi 2 and X Force (in lieu of Deadpool/Wolverine and with Ryan having control, not Disney/Feige) and Young Avengers.

Eternals 2 isn't likely to happen. If they plan to release only 2 movies per year, I doubt they would even consider Eternals. There is simply other and better options for Marvel Studios.

I fine without a direct sequel... but, would like to see these characters used again somewhere else, and the story line brought to a conclusion, even if not in his own movie

From the initial line up, I just want to see Black Knight which isn't even an Eternal. In hindsight, the movie shouldn't have happened. Its like the most random piece in the MCU. Unlike the shows, a movie is harder to ignore and Eternals stick out like a sore thumb when looking at the list of MCU movies.

I don't think they could wrap their story in Secret Wars/Doomsday when there are likely more important characters that would appear in those films and there would be no time to explain what happened with all the 7 Eternals + Starfox/Pip. Which brings another issue with the current state of the MCU, the lack of hindsight with these projects. This wasn't an issue in Infinity Saga, as they all ended up in Infinity War/Endgame.

Showing up in the next saga? I think Eternals would be like Leader and other long time villains with 1 appearance. They would return eventually. With Eternals, not in their own movie but someone else's.

The cast seemed really into the characters. Such a shame, I was really rooting for Eternals. I enjoyed the mythology and world building it had going and was hoping it would lead to future Space adventures with the Guardians and even encourage Marvel to give the Inhumans another shot. Instead we got F4 (with a menacing looking Galactus; I'll give them that)

In hindsight, I feel like they should have just prioritized making Captain Marvel 2 sooner, instead of this 1 and done.

The movie still looks cool though.
