Ever feel like...

Actually, you really don't have a problem until you are broke and homeless on the streets with someones foot on your throat and a their gun in your face. Then I'd say it is safe to say that you have a problem.

well what do you like to do? If you have a hobby or a passion, maybe you can turn it into a career. College education will open many doors to you career wise. Just think about your skills or interests and brainstorm what type of careers you could use them in.

Agreed.

Valumart, it's good that you're realizing now that you need to make something of your life. Better than being 50 and realizing you were unhappy.

As for your question, I'm 21 and I feel like I have had a very fulfilling life so far. I've really excelled academically and pushed myself to succeed more than I would have imagined when I was younger. I've been through hard times and worked through them to become a happier person. I feel really hopeful about my future

Actually, you're the one doing more than your buds who are away at college since you are actually working. Furthering ones education is good but most of the
underclassmen and probably alot of the upperclassmen probably don't even know how to use a shovel. In other words - they're useless unless you want another pointless lecture.

I have no doubt your more useful than them.

Thats one of the dumbest things I've ever read. What do you think college does? Making glasses is more important than getting an education? So people that make fries at Mcdonalds are further along than people in college, please:whatever:

Yes, you shovel **** with you k-12 education and with my looming to be PhD I will tell you what to do:o

i've looked into that before but there's nothing in the area like that

Maybe not films but you could probably find a production company or two. I freelance and one of my jobs is making bank training videos. Not what I'm going to do for the rest of my life, but good experience and networking.

Whoever produces something concrete and that can be seen is doing more.

And yeah, making glasses is more important than getting an education. My people need those glasses, they don't need my education.

what does a shovel have to do with anything? The fact is, sure he's working now but when his friends get out of college, they will be making much more money at their first job than a person who just worked for those 4 years (or however long it is). College education matters.

Ahh that High School Equivalency diploma really did your brain wonders. :whatever:

Good luck with that.

Yes I'm sure you'll try to but the point is we don't need you to tell us what to do, we already know what to do.

I value someone who can tell me how to build a house
rather than how to take pills.

There is a need for that stuff obviously but if everyone had that attitude the world would end, but the lawns sure would look nice. And who decides which lenses you need in those glasses? Someone educated.

Matters for money, that's about it and quite frankly money and papers and books is too small for me to deal with and always has been.

I would rather live in a house designed by a licensed architect than some handy man named QueerMike:o

Keep talking and proving how much of an ass you are with your foolish assumptions.

QueerMike, I hope you enjoy your 30 grand or less per year job with your handy dandy GED.

Yes, an immigrant workers who builds a shed is just as or even more important than a Doctor or Lawyer.

you mean like an architect, who is required to have a college education?

College grads are MOST ALL THIEVES in my opinion. School is for girls and they are stealing from the females, they are stealing from the workers, and they are stealing from their parents. College grads are little ****in' *****es WHO'S ASSES GOT PUSHED OUT OF THEIR HOMETOWNS BY PEOPLE LIKE ME AND THE ONES WE WORK FOR!

Hey...wanna mow my lawn for 15 bucks? I also need my gutters cleaned:o

you know...I've thrown around this idea a lot and It comes down to 2 basic principles:

1. You decide what is important in your life, you aren't living anyone else's, this is the only one you have and you are in control of it. You decide what is fun, sad, good, bad, etc.

2. The only reason to think that you aren't living a meaningful life is that you are either not living up to someone else's standards (whom you must idolize) which (if this is the case) you should look back at #1, or you aren't accomplishing things that you would like to accomplish that would add value to your own life.

simple as that unless someone can prove me wrong.
