That news is just complete and total bull****.
For shame Sony Pictures. For damn shame.

Didn't expect to actually enjoy Eric more than David, either. Sure, the guy unleashed evil, but he caught on to what was happening and was willing to take the necessary steps to fix it. David was just an ass the entire movie; I mean come on man, even if you think Mia's just detoxing and she didn't get tree raped (and BTW, wouldn't the two nurses be able to verify that pretty quick?), you're just going to leave this freaked-out girl by herself in her room?
) I don't want the forces of darkness cracking one liners or anything like that, just give 'em some more verve next time around. No more of this slowly crawling crap, we've seen that too many times in too many zombie movies.Yeah, they kept building up the final monster as the ultimate evil, but it was basically just another girl. I was hoping that we would get Rotten Apple Head! Or....something other than just another person making crazy faces.t:
Yeah I mentioned a few pages back that I'm assuming there were a lot of cuts (due to the NC-17 rating) and if you look at some of the tv spots, you see Mia walking/stumbling down a highway in her red dress (that she wore at the end) giving some evidence that there was an alternate ending.
Just thought I would mention it here because there are a lot of Jane Levy fans around that I was shocked to discover she played the first Mandy Milkovich in Shameless. It may be because I think the show's best season was its first (though Season 3, which just ended, was really good), but she was so much more likable and adorable than her replacement.
It is hard to think that it is the same girl who played Mandy, Mia and the Emma Stone clone ABC is going for.
Just throwing that out there.

Bruce posted on his twitter denying that this was ever filmed. Scripted, quite possibly, but he claimed it never made it to production. The original scripted ending was a post credits scene where Mia stumbles down a road. A car drives up to her and gives her a ride, while in the car her eyes turn back to the deadite form and the film then ends. However, the director wanted Ash to be in the film so cut out Mia turning back into a deadite, and had the driver picking her up be Ash instead, leading onto a future instalment. The scene was filmed and everything, however in post production the scene was cut out for unknown reasons.
It could be your theater projector, I had no problems with the darkness.
Yeah Navigator, it was probably your theater. I had no problems with the film being overly dark. Actually, I found the cinematography in the film to be pretty good.

It's not your S1 bias - she was exponentially better in the role than the girl who replaced her. I know this stuff is supposed to be subjective, but I think that's a damn near objective fact, lol.It may be because I think the show's best season was its first (though Season 3, which just ended, was really good), but she was so much more likable and adorable than her replacement.

I haven't seen much of the recent series. But I was into season 1.You a fan of the show or just her on it? Yes, she is very adorable even when she is stalking poor Ian all across Chicago in that episode.
