Well as the credits are ending they play the professor talking from the tape recorder from the first film.

And after the credits are over it's just Bruce as Ash and he turns to the camera and says groovy.

We actually got a Q & A with Fede after and he wouldn't say where or when ash is

Time travel, gotta be time travel. :woot: Can't wait, thanks for sharing that with us.

Your all welcome !

The movie is alot better than I ever thought an Evil Dead reboot would. It was pretty gory some of the stuff Ive read about being one of the goriest movies ever, not ever, but very very gory.

I loved it. I will have to see it again to really take in some of the Easter eggs.

Darn it lol

But I'm guessing her performance will make up for it? :D

It sure as hell will lol

She was so good in it. She's got alot of talent there's no doubt about that.

She had alot to pull of in one role, it was quite amazing to she her do all of them and do them as amazing as she did.

I loved her.

That's great to hear :)

I'm assuming she has multiple personalities or something? Lol

I was most amazed at her as a drug addict. Her fighting her addiction. She was just so lovely in the whole movie.

And the ending is awesome IMO. I can't wait to see this movie alot more.

I forgot she was an addict.

Does everyone else in the cabin think she's like that because of the drugs before the weirdness starts?

Btw. What WAS the scariest scene? :D

Her addiction is the biggest reason they won't leave or believe Jane levy.

needle in the eye maybe the scariest one for me.

So many gory moment not truly scary scenes but all in all a scary horror movie

Nice!

By any chance...

Did he fall into screen from a portal or anything before he looked into the camera? Someone on another site said that in a comment section. Guessing that was bs.

Also, can you tell when the film takes place time wise? Is it modern times or just sometime after ED1 and 2?

no portal or anything like that, it's just ash in a black room all you can see is his head.

as for the time, I'm not sure they didn't have or use cell phones but the jeep and blue station wagon are clearly newer.

Ahh. Reading that made my butt clench so fast and tight you could crack nuts! :D

Just had me a marathon of Evil Dead 1-3. And Drag me to Hell. Can't wait for this, the positive buzz has me even more excited.

I watched Oz:The Great and Powerful.I'm pumped.

I see the trailer for this at night while watching Family Guy on Adult Swim and it scares the hell outta me- I've very excited for this movie.

Saw the film at a pre-screening last night. Definitely didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either. I never really felt like the movie knew what it wanted to be: it's own standalone thing or just an hour and a half of fan service. That being said, the gore was pretty great, and the final act was just as good.

Sounds like Tron Legacy. This is likely a symptom of original creators looking over the shoulder of a younger generation as well as the perceived necessity of banking on established franchises and fandoms.

All of you speaking in spoilers so much has me so tempted, but I am doing my best to fight the urge to read.

Just read it ! Lol Jk

But really I loved the movie. Maybe I just went in with such low expectations that I was blown away.

I feel like it was best horror movie I've seen since well Drag me to hell.

Has this been posted? End credits scene was filmed with Bruce Campbell and cut.

I was told that there was a scene for post-credits where they shot Bruce Campbell in the Ash role but of course he is older (trying to integrate him into this remake’s timeline for future possible cross over),” the reader explained to us. “The surviving member of the group is walking down a road (all covered in blood from the final scene in the movie) and suddenly a truck (with the word “S-Mart” printed on the side of the truck’s container unit) drives up the road and stops by the survivor. Then the window roles down and we see none other than Ash (Ashley Williams…Bruce Campbell)…the hero and survivor from the original Evil Dead trilogy. He asks the survivor if everything is OK and if any help was needed. Then the Survivor looks at Ash and turns again into a Deadite (gets possessed again)….then we see Ash with the camera zoomed in a close-up on his face as he says: “Groovy!” (one of his famous catchphrases from Evil Dead 2/Army of Darkness…you fans know what I am talking about) and we fade to black… I was so excited and shocked when I heard this little golden nugget by the insider. Then the person goes on to tell me that they shot the whole scene but when Sam Raimi/Bruce Campbell watched it they decided it was out of place (for now).

Ya but everyone says there is a scene in there with him. So maybe that was is cut but many reviewers have said there is a scene with Ash in it in the last pages ect.
