Ewan McGregor Is Black Mask

Might as well remove "Black Mask" from the title then.

I'm going to be super disappointed if they don't go with something close to the comics. His look has so much on-screen potential, and fits right into the "Rated R" vibe they want.

Heard and Depp aren't in the same movie together. But I do find the drama with McGregor and Winstead's exhusband hilarious.

Scott Pilgrim vs The World is now real

I should not be as disappointment that the article about Winstead's ex-husband's attempted katana vengeance appears to be a photoshop job than I am.

Proof that DC should not have cast McGregor as Black Mask

Ah, I see that it is just a meme and it never happened. The idea of it seemed so outlandish that I kinda wanted it to be real.

I love how the title of this thread changed to a simple 'Isn't'

He looked damn great in the trailer

Gonna be like Zemo in Civil War. Really wanted Bruhl in that purple get-up.

There was actually production art for Civil War that had him wearing the purple mask. Who knows, maybe he'll wear it in the Falcon/Winter Soldier show.

He will. There was already a promo of him wearing it and telling Sam and Bucky he'd see them soon.

:hrt:

This is what I hoped would happen if he ever returned. He's basically going to be on the run from escaping, so wearing a mask really makes sense now.

To keep on topic, I need to check out this trailer soon.

I feel like directors can take some liberties with these characters but when you have a character who is literally called Black MASK and then he doesn’t wear a mask, it kinda ruins it. Then again... I’ve never liked Black Mask anyway so it doesn’t really bother me much that this version doesn’t appear to resemble his comic book counterpart.

Black Mask was never a popular Batman villain so I guess they’re trying to make him more interesting. We’ll see.

Caught the trailer before "Joker". I'm not some Black Mask fanboy but I do like the villain quite a bit and this is lame as hell from what was shown in the trailer.

A friend of mine saw Joker the other day and this trailer was in front of it. He said it made him worry that Joker was going to suck, lol. I don't want this movie to fail but damn, I wish I could say that something I've seen from it made me feel good about it.
