The Dark Knight Exclusive TDK Set Report #2!

i've said that i appreciate your reports and pics. i'm not slamming you at all. and i'm not clamoring for joker video. but to register on a site and then post, "yeah, i have very revealing joker video, but i'm not going to show it" is pretty transparent; the guy wants attention. if he expects his ass to be kissed, he's not going to get it from me.
well, he's a rookie here. I've done this site for two years, I wasn't even mention the video. He goofed a little, lets move on.

That, and the fact it all looked so good in person. I saw him over a dozen times, so the shock thing wore off after awhile.

The way of all things. This time next year it'll be the same for all. Virtuous Patience, people.

Are you going back out tonight? Do it for your forum's love

As much as I'd love to I cant. I'm too physically drained trying to balance a day job and nighttime bat-hunting. And I have a meeting Saturday morning.

I highly suggest any of you get out there if you can. The set locations found on the internet are pretty accurate. Just be respectful of the crew, no cameras, and know your boundaries.

NoirMan,

given your hint in the chicago thread, is last night's chase scene related to what will be filmed tonight? is the RPG going to take out you know what?

There ya go. People that were already fine with the look likely wouldn't change their minds about it in person. Same for the naysayers.

We need some haters to get out there. Get some perspective and all that. :o

no we dont want 'haters' to get down there and see for themselves..wtf? its a film they are bringing us the dark knight, the joker .. we are all excited, opinionated.. sorry i cant tell if u r joking or not..

im am in no doubt we are about to see the true joker finally onscreen. the wild, eerie, elegant, superviolent psychopath. i trust we are gonna see the real thing in this movie. in time ..

What I would like to know if any of this can be seen only on Lower Wacker? If anything cool can be seen on Upper Wacker, then my building has a good vantage point to see all the action.

I dont know about NoirMan, but I think yes to the first part and no to the second part.

okay, i'm out for a little while. trying to get some more sleep. I work nights and I'm just exhausted.

It was more of a joke, but there's some truth in it. Why wouldn't you want people of different opinion to see it for themselves? If the only people reporting are those that gush about everything, how does that help the rest of us? It's never bad to have different perspectives on things.

well who are some chicago people who hate everything

How did you guys get down onto Lower Wacker? Did the PA help you? Was the truck smashing part down there or on upper?

I have re-read his post and in no way do I see him being a 'smartass'. The only thing I have seen from noirman is dedication in giving us location info that he didn't have to share.

Start showing some respect to pro-active posters who deserve it and life on this forum will be easier for you.

After saying that, I don't wish ill-feelings towards anyone, so no hard feelings, eh? ;)

People need to learn to read better so they don't have to skim to just catch key words. If you had read my past few posts I wasn't referring to Noirman as the smartass. I was referring to Beyfrog, but we settled it already.:yay: I'm thankful for Noirman for giving us this info that he, yes, didn't have to shair in the first place. I don't treat this forum nor any other as "life" so I don't have a hard or even easy time I guess you could say.

But all bull**** aside, I agree. No hard feelings. :yay:

How the hell do some of you bypass the censorship?

Now you know how Bruce feels every day :-\

i agree..
but i see level headed reports here.. excited, thoughful yeah,.. not gushing..

i just meant in principle id rather see and hope for good reports.. honest reports. i'd be gutted if this film was not done perfectly.. so we are on the same page. we are all batman fans, with different opinions, .. but there should be no agenda. we all want to see it done right, but i think the film will do it its own new unique way, and right by us hopefully... .

dude, you're an ass. if you want Joker video, stay up until the the sunrises, walk miles around a huge city, stand for hours, miss out on sleep, and get it your damn. I have no patience for ingrates after all the legwork I've done. Give 'em an inch.....:cmad:

Well we weren't on Wacker itself, that was blocked off. We were on Lake street between Franklin and Wells, at a T-intersection, looking down a small street towards Wacker. That's were we saw one of the truck crashes and the Joker.

Then TrueGrave and I took off towards the Dearborne bridge and that's where we saw the Joker semi followed by a few GCPD cars and a GCPD armored truck (and the mysterious garbage truck) go flying down lower Wacker.

Ok all, I'm outa here. I'll be back later for more questions and discussion or whatever.

Like I've already said a few times. That was dumb of him, but it was just heat of the moment. Didn't mean to come off at attention ****ing *******s. We are sharing what we can with you without betraying the crew's wishes.

Given the amount of importance on getting a hugely iconic character like The Joker right, I do apologize for mentioning anything about a video. I was asked and I'm not going to lie. Tie in the excitement level and there you have it.

Besides, the combination of Noir's and Holy's set reports are 100x more informative and actually have better imagery.

As for bragging, that's part of the point of set reports, I mean.. we did see the f*ing Joker but it's more-so to confirm that our beloved comic book characters are done right.

Well put.
