The Dark Knight Exclusive TDK Set Report #3 8/13

even if you did have a myspace:

Yeah he's right we can't access the photos/report on her MySpace because her account is set to private. Do you think that you could copy and paste her report and hyperlink the photos for us?

Great job on the set photos.

I like the video, you can see just how long the Joker's coat is. It's like a topcoat or something.

awesome spy pics guys .. thank u.. doesnt really look like heath does it? he's far gone. .. but this is the way to go..younger, cooler, more dangerous. he looks dark. his hair looks perfect..green, oily.. he looks white, nasty and ****ed up but still elegant. respect. cant wait to see him on film. and yeah the long coat is pure joker.

im worried.. i actually think i'll be cheering for this cool mother****er over batman!

This is the Joker I've waited years to see onscreen, classic Joker, charismatic , eerie and now weirdly sexy . bows down.

Yeah. You gotta love that Nolan has translated the costume more faithfully than anybody had any reason to expect. Certainly not the "unrecognizeable" Joker that some feared.

As for me, I'm loving it. His visage is pure "evil clown." The smile is a lot neat-er and smaller than some thought it would be, and those black eyes certainly give him the "I'm coming for your soul" vibe that his look had in BATMAN #1. The hair is pretty green, though it's a dirty green.

All in all, a great Joker interpretation that takes all the basic components of the Joker's look, tweaks them some, and recombines them in something that's at once recognizeable and new.

Perhaps it's a stunt man

I see a flesh colored neck :(

IT WAS NOT!!!

They were filmming him!!

besides I saw his stand in, he has no hair color, and only wears white makeup and black eye shadow..no red lips or smile.

He did have red lip and a red nose.:whatever:

What did you expect?

You must be new at this. :o

thanks for having my back on this.... we have only seen 2 pics of him. Both NOT CLEAR. If you ask me, there is nothing blurry about those. We get good looks at him. I know they are side views but I think they are very exciting!!

I cant link through can someone give me the name of the videos so i can search youtube to find them i tried "dark knight filming" but there are of vids.

Thanks typeorocks and Laura and whoever gives me the names of the vids

Laura is GOD!!! Awsome pics guys, probably the best someone could ever get; but don't let that stop you from getting even better ones.:woot:

Jeez, chill out dude. I said perhaps

Is the neck the same color as the face or is it flesh?

Hey man, no problem.

I've seen a lot of spy photos for a few movies in my day... this is about as good as they get. And certainly these are the best we've had of the Joker by far.

Anyone who is critical has unrealistic expectations. Pure and simple.

First, to attempt to ease a few concerns....

The "Flesh-Tone Neck":
The neck only looks like it is flesh-tone in the first clear picture, seen through the camera focus. However, this is off-color in other areas, IE, the hair seems brown/black, and the nose seems red. If you look at the further-away pictures of him on set, its quite clear his neck is white.

The "Flesh-Tone Hands":
Heath Ledger isn't in full costume here. He's not got the jacket on, this is him just hanging around set preparing for filming. He also appears to be holding a script. I'd assume when filming-time comes, he'll get his jacket on, and a pair of gloves. He therefore doesn't need his hands painted white.

With that cleared up, all that's left to say is...THANK YOU TYPEOROCKS! And Laura too...:cwink:

Thanks everyone for the great/kind words. Hopefully Laura signs up on here...shes a die hard batman fan also. I did tell her to at least come and read the thread

I haven't felt this famous since I took this picture a few years ago....

hahaha! I've got that picture on my hard drive! :)

I've got my screensaver set up to cycle through all the photos in my Batman Begins folder, so there's a lot of publicity photos and official shots, and an assload of spy photos. Including that one.

sorry I just don't want people to think I'm lieing and causeing hype over nothing.

His makeup did look kinda pale, not as bright white as his stand in.

AlSO...I heard he filmmed at 8pm that night.

Then left and came back at 1am(when we saw him)

So maybe its just faded and got touched up once he entered the truck.

But can we AGREE that the space between his nose and mouth seem Who like? IDK if its the lighting or w/e.

So the Tumbler was there, but no Batpod. I wonder what Buster was doing there, don't think he has anything to do with vehicle stunts usually
