Unless we get more glimpses of the Knightmare timeline (which might've been erased with Bruce uniting) I think it might not happen, sadly.

I hope the movie has a glimpse where we get to see Cyborg being controlled by Darkseid's forces, the Flash working with batman to get an homage to the cosmic treadmill working (I'm thinking a sphere-like device would work best considering wormholes on a 3 dimensional plane are spheres) and while Flash is holding off Superman's hostile parademon/supersoldier forces (he has replaced Steppenwolf as Darkseid's top lieutenant) whom Cyborg is leading as Superman's top Lieutenant as he is buying time for the technicians to get the treadmill up and running culminating in a Cyborg vs. Flash fight ending with Flash being forced to quickly go back and time and deliver the message after being fatally injured all this taking place after Batman's capture.

I don't have much of a problem with that suit but I really want to see the one from Wayne Tech in it's full glory.

For some reason I'm still not convinced that he's getting a different suit. Hopefully he does, though and I hope it has a simpler design. I do like the cowl on the current one and how it resembles a bike helmet with that smooth back end for better aerodynamics.

It does resemble that yeah, but I don't want to think about a bike helmet when I'm thinking about Flash lol.

Suuuuuurely, they put that in there because they plan to revisit it down the line. Anytime you introduce time travel into a serial story like that, you better have a long term plan and have it mapped out. I'm definitely curious to see more of the Knightmare scenario. Be cool if that's what Flash's Solo focused on

You know I never considered that the Flash film would have some connection to the Knightmare stuff at all. But now that you bring that up it would be interesting. Also would make the Flash film a natural showcase for some JL members to cameo.

I think you are severely overestimating how much whedon is doing with this movie. Hes not rewriting or reshooting everything, hes just seeing the movie through, in post production. This is still Snyder/Terrios film.
