Fable III

My personal favorite thus far has only happened when fighting Hobbes (and it probably makes sense, since they're not very smart).

The hero pauses, then pulls a Marty McFly and points off in the distance with a shocked/scared look on his face... and when the Hobbe spins around in fear, the hero runs him through with the sword. Awesome. :woot:
That reminded me of another one, too. My chick catches a wolf as it lunges at her, holds it by the neck, and runs it through.

I've started a guy now, going to have him using a hammer to see any differences.

I've heard of a few ranged fatalities, but I haven't seen anything for magic yet.

....Also... is it possible to give my bloody peasant looking wife a new friggin outfit? I don't expect there to be but I'm tired of her looking like a bum.
If you're going to marry into the lower class, you have to accept their faults. :woot:

My favourite ranged one is where you shoot at their feet to make them dance and then fire the final one into their chest, making them do the dramatic but classic western "They got me!" death.

Lol my wife is still named 'debbie the ****e' which I find funny since we live in a castle. Also, the other day after having sex, she went "Oh, I feel like a princess!" and I was like "Uh, isn't she technically queen?"

I scored a few new finishers last night during my first encounters with hobbes.

One involves kicking them onto their backs and stabbing them through the head. The other involves hooking them in the stomach and literally flinging them aside.

And a new one against human enemies. She blocks their swing and then cuts them down the middle.

Is there someone similar to Lady Gray in this one? She was the hottest lady in all of Fable 2, and she was bisexual! Bonus.

And another: Flipped a badit right over her shoulder and stabbed him through.

These are fun.

And... another, right after posting that.

If you've seen Troy, you've seen this, more or less. Know when Achilles jumps and stabs the other champion through the neck at the beginning of the movie?

That, essentially, only stabbing through the back instead.

Holy balls.

She chucks the sword into the guy's chest, then yanks it out of them.

Logan just surrendering when you knock down his door = huge letdown.

Yeah, I was a little surprised that was all that happened. Still, it's justifiable. Nothing about the guy screamed "I'm so brave and strong I'll go out in an epic duel."

Just finished last night. Kinda disappointed in the king section of the game. Why give me a choice about tax levels when no tax money ever makes its way to the treasury? I expected it to fill up over time based on my choice. Didn't happen. Seems like that whole thing was engineered to make sure you didn't have enough money in the end. I know you *can* have the money, you just have to be an evil jerk to do it (or spend millions of your own money). I can see penalizing the always-good players a little bit, but not as much as they did.

That being said, my ending turned out pretty well. What's a few million people dead? At least I have a cool academy to peruse.

Yeah, more justifiable when you find out why he was doing what he was doing.

The whole King thing isn't actually that black and white. I ended up killing all my people, but my friend who was playing at the same time as me chose every single good decision AND raised the 6 Mil. It's doable, definitely.

I'm wondering how he raised 6 million if he chose all good decisions? That would leave you well over a million in the whole. Did he donate over 7 million of his own money?

Yeah, I think he donated his own money, but thats kinda expected. Even I did that, and I still was bankrupt. We both opened a demon door that had 1,000,000 gold in it though, that was a huge help.

I think I entered the final day with 100k in the bank and I chose a mixture of good and bad (mostly good). Needless to say, there were lots of deaths.

Was that demon door the one you had to have two players to open? I wondered what was in there.

No, it was the one where you needed to be King.

Oops. Missed that one. I'll look for it on my second playthrough.

If you invest in Real Estate during the course of the game you can actually raise the dough pretty fast (since you get paid every five minutes or so during quests).

Yeah, I've been buying up buildings right along and have an amazing influx of cash.

I'm like a few friggin' inches below the key in my trophy room in the sanctuary.

I've been buying houses and fixing them up, but I really want to get to the Entrepreneur Pack so I can start buying businesses. Is it worth it to keep the houses after getting that, or should I sell them and reinvest into businesses, then buy up the houses again once the money from those starts rolling in? I basically want to own everything in the game at some point.
