The Pip-boy Special Edition is $120. You know, I was toying with the idea of getting it, because having a real life Pip-boy is such a super cool thing (to me, at least), but I'm passing at that price.

I love the fact that Bethesda can announce a game within the same year of its release. You don't see that very often these days; it's usually about announcing as early as possible and waiting a seemingly interminable amount of time for release.

I feel like that's going to be there thing now. They tried it with Skyrim and it worked so well that they're just gonna keep doing it. It works when the same studio works on two games at once. Elder Scrolls 6 is probably being worked on right now. Bethesda just has this amazing working strategy. And thank God, because I love their games. Fallout 4 is going to CONSUME my winder break.

Ugh, FO4 by the end of the year. I love it and hate it at the same time. I just really hope the game breaking crashing bugs are kept to a minimum this time around.

That being said if they need a beta tester I volunteer.

I pre-ordered the Pip-Boy Edition and I'm already playing Fallout Shelter.

Damn shame I never got around to Fallout 3 and NV. Was planning on doing that this Winter prior to F4's Fall 2016 release, but nope. lol I still may play F3 and NV over Winter break, but it won't happen before F4 anymore.

Judging by this image on Amazon, it looks like the Pipboy, a book, some kind of poster and possibly a steel case?

It is strange nowadays when a game is announced and we see trailers, gameplay and get a release date in the very near future so soon after initial announcement.

I feel like Fallout 4 is Fallout 3 and New Vegas done right. Almost everything I hated about those is gone (except for over-the-top silliness and humor), everything I liked about them is still there. And while it's not Fallout 1 or 2 mood and design wise (and I'm a huge fan of those legendary oldies), it looks like it will be the first 3D Fallout game I'll finish.

so, I just read that they recorded 1000 popular names so that your robot butler can address you by your name.

I'm assuming this will let other characters address you by your name as well.

I just hope they offer a wide variety of Male and Female names to choose from.

Some may have seen the little message pop up on the MS conference "Get Fallout 3 with Fallout 4", but this was not actually mentioned since, I assume, the BC part of the conference had not happened yet.

So what perks do we want back? I know I want Jury Rigging back as it was the most helpful perk I ever had in any of the Fallout games. It let me fix rare and expensive to repair armours with vendor trash and make thousands of caps just by fixing the weapons of people trying to kill me.

Them's good eatin' is a great perk too getting thin red paste and blood sausage that heals around 300hp from every few enemies you kill. Never was to sure why you didn't need the cannibalism perk though.
