Loving everything I’m seeing here. That new trailer is sick; they really seem to have captured the cynical, whimsical tone of the games. And using the Ink Spots is always a good choice. Goggins in particular looks like he’s going to be a blast to watch. And that Mr. Handy robot scene is probably going to give me nightmares, lol. Anyone know if they’re using the same voice actor there who did Codsworth? Sounded a bit like him.

This show seems to be cast really, really well. Goggins is great in everything obviously but this series should take advantage of both his natural showman charisma as well as that vicious redneck side he displayed in shows like Justified and The Shield. Purnell and MacLachlan look equally perfect for their roles as naive, optimistic vault dwellers. I’m not familiar with Aaron Moten aside from this but he looks like he’s doing well as a hopeless man who joins the Brotherhood to find some sense of purpose in this hellscape. Emerson looks like he’s bringing his usual blend of creepiness and intrigue. And Dale Dickey is exactly the actress you call when you want someone who comes off like they’ve been to hell and back.

No I don’t think so. Apparently some fans were angry about that but I mean, it’s canon that Vault-Tec did weird experiments on people who lived in the vaults so it doesn’t seem like too much of a stretch that they could have exposed some of them to doses of radiation, creating mutations like that.

Yeah, I saw other people ranting about how there is no NCR in the show. Like, how do you know that? Do you have proof that they aren’t in it just because you don’t see them in the trailer?

Also, an NCR flag has been spotted in the trailer released today, lol.

I know that the show takes place on the west coast but I would love for them to visit The Pitt or Point Lookout in a future season.

The Shady Sands Public Library is a nice nod. My big concern with them being on the west coast is whether or not they acknowledge New Vegas as canon. The Library and the NCR flag are good signs though.

I think we’ll see them. We have to. They just don’t want to spoil it.

I hope we get some Mirelurks too. Those scenes where Ella and Goggins are in a swampy area got my hopes up…

This looks pretty damn good and will certianly check it out, glad all episodes are being dropped as once as well to binge it in a weekend or so. Everything looks authentic to the games and the cast seems great. Interesting to see how this turns out as its a game ripe with storytelling so should lend itself to a tv format very well, just hope it can do better than most video game adaptions. Promising though.
