I have the same problem that Giant Bomb did. Its too self aware. Like the loading screens or that stupid die instead of the rock.

Eh no. It goes too far in the self awareness. It they had just kept it the 80s feel that would have been perfect. But that's a minor quibble. In game man its perfection

Started playing this a couple days ago and so far it freaking rocks. I tend to dislike 1st person games because they rarely 'feel' like you're an actual person running around, instead of a floating camera, but this one gets it just right (This is one reason why I dislike Bethesda's games).

I am actually quite pleasantly surprised since I knew nothing about FC and expected just a tropical themed shooter. I only bought it in the first place because it was so cheap. I'm having a blast.

Oh and I got Blood Dragon during the same sale (last winter). I intended to play it first but in the end decided to do the main game first instead.

Currently trying to take out Camp Murder with perfect stealth but I've tried like seriously 12 times. This is the first camp liberation thingy that's given me a hard time.
