They've been shooting in Atlanta across the street from work all week. My coworker and I stalked the set quite a bit and we got a photo of Vin driving off in an SUV by surprise. The only thing I could think of doing in the moment was to do my best rendition of Vin saying "Muh Femily".

What I've been able to gather, the scene involves a three car collision, with the GTO flipped over with a torn axel. Dom pulls himself out of the car, grabs a briefcase, then takes off in an alley with Statham's character in pursuit. He meets up with Letti, shouts her name, and a crew member repeatedly clapped two apple boxes together. The last shot I saw them shoot yesterday was Letti holding the briefcase on the other end of a section of the alley having a conversation with Dom.

I'm not sure how The Rock (his stunt double anyway) and Kristofer Hivju factor into the scene, but I spotted them on set. Additionally, it's going to be fun to figure out which shots are of the actors and which are of their stunt/running doubles. A lot of times the shots involved the doubles with the facial replacements dots on their faces.

Good news, I think it will be spectacular and best saved for the finale set piece, I thought Fast 7 blew it's load early compared to 5 and 6.

That's because it had to be reconfigured after Walker's death. There was supposedly more storyline for him that had to be dropped completely.

This is true. The sequence on it's own was still pretty good though for me.

I actually like the LA Battle royale that took place in act 3. My favorite action scene was the plane drop/bus overtake scene but I still enjoyed the heck out of all the mayhem in LA. Almost felt like a star wars 3rd act where a bunch of different things are happening all over the place.
