Scott didn't grow up knowing Clint was his dad, though, did he? I thought I read that he didn't find out until his teens or 20s.

"Jennifer Lawrence SAVAGELY ATTACKS unsuspecting co-star"
Women aren't allowed to lash out the way The Rock just did.

I think it would insult Rock more if someone from previous movies was a diva on set. why would he writte this for a new actor like Scott?

I hope it isn't Vin he was talking about, because if it is, that means Hobbs ain't making it past Fast 9. :csad:

Okay there's a rumour out there that apparently Eastwood criticised some of the cast members for going back to their trailers once the director yells cut on their scenes instead of staying on set. Now that's what a lot of actors do. So, A) Eastwood shouldn't complain about that and B) The Rock shouldn't get pi$$ed at a comment like that anyway. If this is true I stress.

E! news has a fairly detailed article up. Apparently, it's been a tough shoot and the atmosphere just hasn't been the same for anyone. I think Paul's death pretty much just killed the mood for the rest of the series. I'm curious to see who sticks with the franchise for 9 and 10.

a bunch of rich people having a d*** measuring contest.

Meh.

Corny is beyond unprofessional? :o

TMZ says it was Vin. As a producer, Vin's made decisions that didn't sit well with Dwayne, and tensions were high to the point that scenes couldn't be filmed. Vin and Dwayne had a private meeting today to talk about things, but how it turned out is unknown.

Wasn't it even said before the film even had a director that Vin was causing trouble?

Yeah, there was some difficulty coming from his end. And then the word a while back that Vin and James Wan were going at it during 7. Again due to Vin's role as a producer.

Well if it's true Vin, as much as he is the face of the franchise, needs to chill. These movies as much as I love them are not over fighting over.

Jeez politicising this was unecessary.

Agreed. I expected The Rock to be more professional than this. I apprecoate him being pissed but airing out such grievances online like this is childish and only serves to escalate whatever bs is going on on set. Damn, social media really has created a generation of critical and angry narcissists.

I was praying it was Mirren just to see how it played out.

Now I'd support a Hobbs spin-off film as a way for Johnson to keep playing the character without being around Vin.

He probably just said "Fu** it!" since he's not coming back as it sounds like Vin Diva was being difficult to work with due to creative differences. I mean he HAS to play as Superman over and over again in these sequels.

Doesn't surprise me if true. The series should've stopped at 7 anyways it had the perfect ending. Paul IMO kept that series alive back when Vin didn't want to do the sequel and they should've ended it at 7.

I could've dug 7 as a franchise finale if they would've closed the loops for all of the major characters and not just Brian O'Conner. The ending as it stands now only feels truly "finite" for that specific character.

I don't want to put words in peoples mouths but Paul Walker never needed/ or wanted an executive producer credit.

Maybe it's getting to Vin's shaved head.

Vin is cool as Dom but the dude has always been a bit of an odd cat with delusions of grandeur.
