Well, Justin Lin always intented 4, 5 and 6 to be a trilogy, 7 retroactively became the end of this part of the story, but it mostly started new plot threads, like that whole espionage organization. Tying up these things also seems the reason Paul Walker's character went to prison in 6 and met the villain of 4.

Makes sense, can't Tokyo Drift be part of the trilogy too? As it takes place in between. This way we have a trilogy in 5 parts, the bigger the trilogy, the better.

I'm positive if you dig up Diesel's press interviews for every film from 4 onwards, he calls it the start of a trilogy.

I was entertained by 7 but its still hard to buy into the "team" being sent on a mission only highly trained military personal should.

BTW did I miss something where everyone because trained fighters? Deckard's character (an ex-special forces assassin) should have killed Dom in about 15 seconds or less. Same goes for Letty v.s. anyone.

If/when they do make another one ($$$ talks).. I just hope it is more reasonable as to "why" they are doing what they are doing.

It's not a smart movie in any way. I'm kind of shocked it is getting all this praise, to be honest. I'm even more shocked that critics liked it. I'd go as far as saying it is a cheap movie, with cheap acting, cheap story, cheap sound editing, cheap cinematography.

These movies are absolutely unique, in the sense that they are so boring i can't get past the first half. Other than Transformers, no other movie had that power on me.

Damn, what a glorified waste of time. Tiresome, predictable, nonsensical, looks, feels and sounds like if it was directed by a teenager with bad taste. I guess i gotta stop paying attention to RT's ratings. 5/10, and that's being nice.

I don't think you're gonna last here very long. Not even thirty posts in and you're telling Hype veterans to grow up. Look, the F&F aren't masterpieces, but for many they're enjoyable. You can't sustain a conversation based on hate. Go find a thread where they're talking about something you love, are passionate about, and have a good time. If you're passionate about how much you hate the F&F franchise though, I suggest maybe reexamining your priorities. If you don't dig a group of movies don't worry about 'em. Just move along.
