Fast 8

The running time rumor is most likely true since people who attended early screenings have pretty much confirmed it. I'm sorry, but that is effing insane. I know they are getting bigger with every movie, but there is no excuse for this to be almost three hours long in my opinion.

I agree, that's not a Scorsese or a Spielberg epic or a drama. Almost 3 hours for a F&F film? It is too long.

My mind remains open. If the ride is still cranking at 2 hours in, I won't blink. I'll be exhausted when I get home though.

Yeah, runtime doesn't matter if it's good. It may be an ambitious move that pays off.

Theron's face looks like it's been airbrushed in that international trailer.

Longer than Batman v Superman

LOL. It's a popcorn flick. Not some space opera(maybe next movie.......)

I'm already anticipating an extended version

Fives minutes shorter than "The Dark knight Rises"

So I guess the sequence with Dom in the Lazarus Pit was cut ;)

OH! I Get IT! "F8" = "Eff-Eight" = "F-ate" -> "Fate"

You know what... I didn't get that until now.

Here in Europe it's called Fast & Furious 8. Not sure why they had to go with this crappy title in the US.

We enjoy puns.

Should've been called "The F8 of the Furious" the whole time.

If you take that poster literally it's called F8: The Fate of the Furious :o

Wow, that's one bad poster. Having "F8" and "Fast&Furious 8" both on the poster make it look like the movie has 2 titles. And the title on the ground is one of the worst and cheap looking photoshopped titles I've ever seen on a poster.

I can hear it now:

Letty: "Dom! Are you gonna turn your back on family?!"

Dom: "I have no family."

*dramatic choral music*

They better make it believable why anyone would want to work with Shaw after he killed Han.

Sometimes adults have to work with bad people to stop even worse people. The government does that. Law enforcement does that. The CIA does that. Even the worldwide economy wouldnt function if people werent willing to cooperate with nefarious entities and bad people.

Thats really the only explanation the film needs to justify the Team working with Shaw.
