Yeah Better Luck Tomorrow is considered to be a unofficial Fast and Furious film, in that shows "Han's schooling years before he turned to crime and joined Dom" I'm paraphrasing Justin Lin's words basically.

But it still fits in the grand scheme of things so its quite cool, it doesn't upset anything.

Yeah, Vin always looks like a big chunk of solid muscle - until the Rock stands beside him. That guy is fricking massive. He's always been in good shape - though he lost a bit of mass when he got into acting a few years back, but he's definitely put it back on.

i'm guessing that the Rock & his agents strike a deal with Dom and his crew to help them catch who ever the villains in this new movie will be, and in return they'll get to live their lives in peace without the law on their tail. which could explain why they're back in LA.
