Batman (1989) batmobile, tumbler's cool but isn't Batman-ish enough

Otherwise, it had some coolness and came handy opposite to the B&R one, which was completely flashy, unuseful, and with an opened roof --> perfect for stealing, damaging, freezing, etc.

But of course, the best is the B89/Returns one...now THAT is classic Batmobile

o yeah, the 60's batmobile!! the one that started it all!

i actually like the batman and robin uber-flashy batmobile, even if it is completely illogical, it still had a coolness to it, a sharpness. i like how it was super glossy and flashy, but in looks only do i like it. but its only a one seater. that sucks. no room for the ladies like the keaton car.

and i also love the batman forever batmobile, i like how all the bat vehicles in BF had a big fin on them, it made them look like they were in the same class. they tended to do that in all the batman movies. the bathammer is like an extension of the B&R batmobie, and the Batpod is like an extension of the Tumbler batmobile from BB.

My favorite is the Batmobile from '89. Also love the TAS one.

The tumbler was cool, but I think it would have been so much better if it were a bit more sleek and contained the bat-wings like in Furst's design(near the rear tire). But the tumbler had the best top opener.

OK....maybe i shouldnt have added the tumbler....i want this to be a bit more fair and not so onesided.

Fair? Then you shouldn't made this thread. Duh!! Maybe you should've call it "Favorite Bat-Vehicle from Burton & Schumacher films".


And I'm going with Tumbler, with the Burton's Batmobile behind it. I like the Tumbler for practical reason beside look alone.

Also, you said many who vote the Tumbler are Nolanite? Like you think Burtonite like yourself are better with making big deal about no BB & TDK stuff related here. Geez. That sure isn't fair there.

thats just about the ONLY thing i didnt like about the tumbler batmobile. i thought it gave a awsome performance in action, but it just didnt look like the batmobile. i know hes just starting out, but if they would have just updated it for TDK i would have been more then happy, but infortunatly it doesnt look like they will. if it at least had some fins or added a semi-visible bat logo i would have been happy because, like someone else stated, the batmobile is supposed to be an extension of batman himself. if you ever look at the comics, which i do only sometimes, i notice that almost every one of batman gadgets is in some kinda batshape. i think i even remember him haveing a bat cell phone in one of the newer comics. it was kinda gay lookin IMO, but it was a batshape nonetheless. i always took it as he turns all his gadgets and vehicles into batshape because hes so obsessed with his persona that EVERYTHING must be in the form or shape of a bat. that makes perfect sense. but in nolans films, apart from the chest symbol and the baterang, nothing looks, well, batty. and that is a bit dissapointing. for me the only batcave that looks the most like the comics i see is the batman forever batcave, because its huge and has batsymbols all over the place, along with large computers and stuff.

This changes for me all the time, but its mostaly due to mood.

For one, if I'm pissed I would love to drive the tumbler.

But I would probably go with the 89/returns car, I just love the design.

Also I would hate to be in the forever or Batman and Robin cars, damn things are way to flashy.
