Rogue. My fascination with her grow when I saw the first movie .Maybe it was because I was a tennager at the time and I empathized with her. It was so easy to feel her pain and her fascination with Wolverine but also her desire to see the world and to prove herself. Not to mention that Anna did a terrific work. I don't know, she got me, and with the time it didn't fade away.

Since then I've been waiting for her character to be properly developed and empowered as a team member, but even when she was a bit sassier in X2, it never happend.

Now it looks like the time has finally arrived. That's why she's my favorite, because I hope this time she's going to blow my mind.

Great and i understand, Rogue is a great character. Bet she will shine in dofp

Too many to choose.

Storm (to see her going full-on), Rogue (to see her going full-on kick-ass, if they finally do that), Blink (curious how they will use her powers, though we have a teleporter in every single X-Men film!).

(Yep, sorry but not bothered about Mystique that much.. )

From this 5 my fave is Rogue. Liked her in TAS, hope we finally see some badass action from Rogue in movies.

Voted for Mystique. Was going to pick Kitty or Rogue at first, but I noticed my "I've seen Mystique much more than those two" was becoiming a factor more than the characters themselves. Also, very interested to see how Raven really becomes a fighter and more of a dick.

Yeah hopefully in this movie she is more confident in herself and accepts her powers. She deserves to.

Shadowcat in the lead for now, hope she gets to shine especially with her cool evolved phasing powers. I wonder how it works?! :)

My favorite female of DOFP is Storm.

Storm was never my fav in the OT but its been such a long time that we saw her. And Halle Berry is just a star, the criticism about her playing Storm just makes me want to root for her and hope for the best. I still love her moment in the San Diego Comic Con this year.

"My problem with Storm is she never gets any love" **awkward silence from the crowd***
"Is she asexual and nobody tell me?" **the crowd laughs**

I know right! That was funny. Yeah, we never know much about her. Hopefully in Dofp we get an inside on who she is like Halle mentions. She seems to be a big character in promotion as well, so she will get her share of posters, sticker books, bookbags, toys! Lol

This thread reminds me that the X-Men universe has the best female characters in all of comics.

In many respects they are more powerful and, personally, much more interesting then their male counterparts.

I know right! The X-Women are the best! Very diverse group of females!

Yeah hopefully in Apocalypse, they would finally introduce Psylocke and Polaris!

So far...I'm really excited for Blink...we've already had a taste of the others included...I'm excited to see what they'll do with her, and how her powers will transition to the big screen.

I came here thinking Mystique would be the run-away winner. Glad to see the main X-women are holding up their own!

I'm excited to see what's been happening to Ellen page's shadowcat since we last saw her. She's the only one to reprise the role of shadowcat.

Blink is also the most interesting new female character but I'm still hoping jean makes a suprise appearence

I love it that Halle spoke up at Comic Con, and engaged with the audience in such a nice, confident way. Some of the others were so hesitant and nervous (like Anna, almost having a panic attack, lol), but Halle was very good.

Definitely, she was really good at Comic Con.

I love the her description of Storm: 'The Earth mother of the group but can be a badass when she needs to be."

But my favourite quote from her was when she put those Singer/Berry hate each other rumours to bed by stating she was happy Bryan was back and I love the reaction not just from the crowd but from the OT cast who have worked with Singer before.

berrys attitude towards storm is probably what got her character pushed up in X3 in very forced ways (whether it was right or wrong it didn't work out very well), and i don't care what anyone says she was happy with X3 at the time even though she probably doesn't speak highly of it now because its not highly regarded among fans as X2 but i think if fans had loved X3 and she probably would have too

i find storm kinda cringworthy in X3, she as a character seemed forced and i don't see storm i just see halle berry dramatically attempting to be storm

well lets say she was one of the things i wasn't fond of in X3 so if you wanna call that bitter then alright, and her attitude was basically to get more to do like she has something to prove, and i dunno what degree that was and how far that went but it does show in her performance where she looks a little over confident then in the previous films and I find it really noticeable

she looks and seems more natural as storm in X1 and for the most part X2, some feel she is miscast but i actually liked her as storm in X1, i never knew that was berry for a long time infact I didn't know who it was playing storm

Really the thing we should be thankful now is that all these highly-acclaimed actors are very enthusiastic to be returning to these roles that made them famous. We can see on that Comic-con panel that Jackman, Stewart, McKellen, Berry, Paquin, Page, et al

We could've gotten a Terrence Howard, a Natalie Portman, a Kirsten Dunst or a Hugo Weaving who've all made allusions to not wanting to return to their contracted comic book roles (or downright turned the roles down) after their first go-around with the character. Halle was once part of this group. Let's just be glad she's had a change of heart.

You know what if Halle Berry didn't ask for more role in X3. She would probably ended up getting the exact screentime/importance as Rogue and Colossus. She would be there in the whole movie but not a lot of dialogues and not doing a lot of things.

Sure, Storm felt forced at the beginning but imagine if she didn't ask for more role?
