Favorite Movie from the Year you were Born.

No one born in 1990 liked BTTF 3? :csad:

Best movie that came out my year was Goodfellas, but my personal favorite is Edward Scissorhands.

Hey man, I love BTTF3, but when you compare it to Goodfellas? Sorry Marty.:o

Much as I love Batman, I have to go with

The Little Mermaid

Was anybody else born in 1976? I mentioned Rocky a few posts back and looking up wikipedia I had to look up more movies if anyone seemed to like.

Of the more notable there was:
Carrie
Taxi Driver
Silver Streak
The Enforcer
King Kong (remake)
The Omen
All The President's Men
The Bad News Bears
Freaky Friday
Network
The Pink Panther Strikes Again
The Smurfs And The Magic Flute
(seriously!)

1984:

Terminator
Ghostbusters
Gremlins
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
The Karate Kid

1989:

Batman
Tango and Cash

Jesus Christ... I am insanely jealous of you all.

Especially now that you have posted in this thread for the rest of eternity you can only watch movies from the year you were born. Muahahaha ;):oldrazz:

*Or you can just watch other movies outside that year what ever suits you. But you better watch Wayne's World, it's kinda a sin that you have not.

That is tough, The Thing and Blade Runner FTW. Though I would say Blade Runner, but then we have to argue....the Directors Cut was not really released until 1992...so lol.

I'm just being a pill. ;)

I actually agree with you on the Blade Runner thing, I didn't take that into account. also, Fast Times and E.T. that year as well.

My friends always called me an idiot for liking wayne's world. I knew I wasn't the only one who liked it. :woot:

1992 had some good films, and I will admit that Batman Returns isn't a bad film (Still hate it, though), but it feels so underwhelming compared to other years even in the 90s.

Much as I love Batman Returns (again, one of the most important movies of my...well, not just childhood, but life), I've always known that it's a "love it or hate it" movie, and I can see why it just doesn't work for some people. On the other hand, if you don't enjoy Wayne's World or Aladdin, there's something wrong with you.
