I didn't really get the br'er rabbit line myself. I suppose it's either a southern reference mocking Shocker's accent again or something to do with sPidey being clever "prey".

That's basically what I assumed.

Spiderman to Molten Man

" Is that an oscar with my name on it"

That was just funny to me.

Double post.

Green Goblin: Good news, low life! The city gone green! Say hello to the new Big Man of crime! The Green Goblin! He-ha-ha-ha!

Yea i got to say i love all the onliners in this show. They really know how to write them.

Gwen: You need to tell all this to your parents.
Peter and Harry: Uh...no.

Butler(Carrying wine; Monotone): Mister Osborn...Master Harry...Spider-Man.

Norman: Harry, what are you doing?
Harry: Cowboying up.

Harry: Dad?
Norman: Son, he's obviously an imposter.
Harry: Right, right. Except, I heard you apologize to Spider-Man last night. Norman Osborn never apologizes! (Rips off mask)
Norman (Chameleon): I did not sign up for this.

Butler:Mister Osborn,Master Harry...Spider-Man.

That was hilarious, just the way he said Spider-Man almost had me in tears.

U beat me. Tht was my fav quote, but I also liked Goblins delivery when he laughing at Menkin being GG. Another gd quote is

GG: Rule one, Spidey must splat!

Spidey: Rule two, ignore rule one! Rule three, make Gobby look Goofy!

I think the people over at IGN made the last one if my memory serves me right.

Since the Goblin is my favorite Spider-Man villain, both in the comics and this show, I'm going to do my Top 10 favorite quotes from him Ratcrawler style! Hope he doesn't mind.:woot:

10. Oh don't tell me you like the Master Planner and his wonderful personality? Brrr.

Guess Norman overheard Peter and Harry's conversation about MJ in Market Forces.

9. Guilty. Guilty! And oh so very guilty. Of being the new Big Man of crime!

Gobby's return in season 2!

8. Yes yes, I'm a big fat liar! Like we didin't all know this was a trap?

How badass can you get?

7. Hello good evening, bon soir, I am the Green Goblin and I am looking for the Big Man.

Gobby introduces himself, what more can I say?

6. Hold this would you?

He gave one of those thugs a pumpkin bomb and delivered that line. Oh man, I laughed when he said that. Also, funny when the thugs passed around the bomb to each other. Funny stuff.

5. Tombstone: What do you hope to accomplish here tonight?
Gobby: So the whole "wanting to destroy you and take over your empire" thing wasn't clear? Well darn.

Good burn Gobby.

4. Spidey: Not so fun when you're flying blind huh Gobby?
Gobby: Too true. More fun to FIRE BLIND! HAHAHAHA!

Aw man, what a physcopath!

3. Now, let's see what cracks first, my gobwebs, or your bones.

Can't really explain much but I just love that line!

2. Tombstone: Sir, I don't know who you are but...
Gobby: Of course you don't! That's the point of the mask, genius!

Tombstone got owned.

1. We all wear masks Spider-Man. But which one is real? The one that hide your face, or the one that IS your face?

I'm not really good at explaining stuff but all I can say is that it was an AWESOME line!

And since Doc Ock is my 2nd favorite villain, both in the comics and this show, here's his top 10 quotes.

10. Otto Octavius was weak. Call me, Doctor Octopus!

Kind of cheesy and probably just that, weak, but, it worked.

9. Farewell Spider-Man. Enjoy your doom.

Man, the way he says that line is so evil, sinister and creepy. Peter MacNicol is brilliant!

8. I knew you were finally getting serious when you stopped cracking you phatetic little jokes.

It shows how really annoyed the villains could get with Spidey's one-liners. Well, unfortunately Doc, he was actually asleep, an alien symbiote controlled his mind during the fight.

7. TREACHERY!

Dunno why, but the way he delivers that line is awesome! Peter MacNicol is brilliant!

6. Yes gentlemen, and Rhino.

Rhino's look after that line is priceless.

5. Silence! You imperious moron!

What if he said:
Silence! I kill you!

Loved the way he delivers that line. Do I need to say it again? Oh yes. Peter MacNicol is brilliant!

4. Rhino you won the coin toss, will you crush his skull or simply impale his heart on your horn?

Now that's badass, sinister and evil at the same time.

3. Your new suit interests me arachnid. I'm going to enjoy peeling it away for further studies.

So evil! And so sinister!

2. Tombstone: Sorry Doctor, too many witnesses. L. Thompson Lincoln can't be seen collabarating with supervillains and gangsters.
Doc Ock: Then L. Thompson Lincoln, IS WEAK!!

Yikes! Don't make Doc Ock mad Tomby you'll regret it!

1. THIS is the cause of our troubles. We can rule Manhattan togheter or divide it at our leisure, as soon as we dispose of this, PEST!

Awesome line! Peter MacNicol is brilliant as Doc Ock! Sorry I had my doubts on you, you rule as Doc Ock!

Liz goes from shock to woman scorned in 2 seconds:

"You. Dump. Me? I don't think so."

DAMN RIGHT I MIND! YOU'LL BE HEARING FROM MY LAWYER!

J/K ^_^ You picked some good ones there. I might try my hand at character oriented top ten lists as well. But if anything in your list stood out it was Doc Ock's "TREACHERY!" It's one of those lines that sound good on paper but not out loud and yet McNichol NAILED it.

I think you missed a few golden Gobby quotes from Opening night though.

"Oh just to be perverse, I'll activate your curse. To prevent it getting worse...put the webhead in a Hearse."

"Gobby's DONE using surrogate squashers!!! And rhyme schemes."

Well I haven't re-watched Opening Night yet.

Those are some nice top ten quotes, SpideyTheBest!

In "Opening Night," when GG said "Gobby's done using surrogate squashers! And rhyme schemes," I thought that was hilarious. He talked in third person, and the part where he said "...and rhyme schemes" was just funny.

Yup. Also, as far as introductions go, I kinda preferred what Gobby said to the three Asian kids...

"What I WANT is your undying loyalty. Or the dying kind. The Green Goblin is nothing if not flexible."

^OMG! I just noticed something. Green Goblin said "die" in that line you just mentioned. I thought those kind of words are not be used in a kids' cartoon. LOL...

They tend to dance around them. I think they're ok to use in retrosPect like "Eddie's parents and mine died in a plane crash." sParcely. And in this instance, Gobby was talking about loyalty, not life.

I think my favorite replacement terms were used in Market Forces...

O'Hirn: Did I get him? Is he roadkill?

Marko: He's finito! Let's book!

Ock: "Yes gentlemen.....and Rhino"

Ock: "Check please"
Waiter: "Uhhhh....on the house, sir"
Ock: "Very kind of you...and wise"

^Nice!

LOL...I just noticed something again. The words "kill" and "die" have been used several times in this show. I guess they sneaked the words in. Even I didn't notice it until you brought it up, Ratcrawler.

Were those words banned from the 90's cartoon?
