Basically, tell what transformation in the movie made you go "Holy s***!" I'd have to say that my favorite is when he transforms in Sterns lab but I guess that's because you see it in full view. I'd say that's the best Hulk transformation in live action ever (to me). My other favorite was when he transformed in the bottle factory because it made you think "Damn, they are screwed."

i loved when he transformed for the first time in the factory. that was awesome how the director made it seems mysterious.
i also loved when he transformed in the skywalk, at the college. how the hand came up out of the smoke. awesomeness.
and when Bruce fell through the concrete, and Hulk appeared. the fight was awesome.

The way he shook his shoulders off like a boxer does was superb.

The transformations were fairly weak across the board. The best was probably second-to-last (Sterns' lab), but I wonder if that excised arctic sequence would have been interesting.

I like it when Banner transforms because he's angry. The transformations in the first movie were all brilliant though. Especially that first one. Intense.

The first two transformations of the 2003 movie were the only interesting ones, imo.

Yeah, and he looked really detailed and freaky beforehand. And just think of how cool it would've been for Banner to get stuck mid-way transforming.

I love visual transformation scenes, so of course the Lab scene is my favorite. Although the 2003 movie had better transformation scenes, (the most realistic was when Banner changed in the water tank, that blew my socks off!) I love both films, but the 2008 film left out that true definitive Hulk-Out scene- which would have probably took the movie to that next level if they had one. The Hulk-Out in the lab was tight, but it only served the purpose of getting Bruce the antidote, and really robbed us the chance of seeing the Hulk in action.

The lab transformation didn't rob us of anything because it was somewhat essential.

The bottle scene because you could really what was going on, just like the goons.

Suprisingly, it was very clear indeed. And the Hulk was uber vicious in that scene.

I thought the transformations in this movie were pretty poor, they were so much more intense in the '03 movie, and were just generally better.

I have to disagree. I felt that TIH's transformations surpassed Hulk's transformations by a long shot. I guess mainly because he was actually having full out battles with the military & you knew that they were in trouble.

The "battle with the military" (as well as the rest of the action) was imeasurably superior in Hulk. As were the Hulk-outs.

Pft, as if. The action in Hulk is meh compared to the action in TIH. And this Hulk was all around more badass & fun to watch.

Opinions!

Keep it at that!

One will say Hulk was better the other will say The Incredible Hulk was better, it is just opinion which should be respected and do not treat it as fact!

No, not really. Both movies had superb action, but in the end, the main reason '03's Hulk fails is because he was too human.

Of course it was an opinion. I shared my opinion, he shared his.

Mine just happened to be right. :cwink:

On the flip side, TIH failed because the Hulk wasn't human enough. He was just an average special effect.

Your opinion is right? I forgot...you're not that intelligent.

My I.Q. is one billion. I'm like the Leader, but handsome. And awesome.

Sure you are. If you're going to troll/spam/whatever, take it elsewhere.

So, guys, how did you feel about not seeing an actual Hulk in?

A Hulk-in? Is that like a love-in? Or a sit-in? Or is it just when he turns back into Banner?

If it's the latter, I didn't mind it. They handled it alright, what with the Hulk falling asleep (presumably) and Banner waking up in his place. It made for some good comedy; i.e. Hulking-out in Brazil and waking up in Colombia (I believe). Although, Hulk turning back into Banner, both after fighting the dogs and after fighting the military in the '03 film were great moments.

He woke up in Guatemala. Also, I thought the military fight scene was awesome, loved how the Hulk was just relentless.
