Spider-Man. It took at least the first 45 minutes of SM1 (you could argue the whole movie or whole trilogy, if you want to get psychological) for that to happen and it was brilliant. When Peter first discovers he has muscles, when he first climbs the wall and the sense of glee and wonder he gets. When he first shoots webs, the wrestling scenes, Uncle Ben's death and the first time he learned how to web swing....

perfect.

The others were not as complex but they worked.

Next:

2. Sandman (CGI could be touching, who knew? And that music and lighting...)
3. Doc Ock (I'm counting from the accident to when he and the arms decide to rob the bank which includes the murder of all the surgeons, which made him a classic cinema baddie)
4. Venom (Just visually amazing and Topher Grace and Tobey Maguire both did very well in this scene as was the music)
5. GG (A great villain but somewhat understated. However as it was the origin movie, I understand. Dafoe sold this character and every scene he was in brilliantly)
6. Harry Goblin (I love the character but his transformation is pretty much off-screen, but I understand why).

All of the transformation were really good, and Sandman's was simply phenominal, sheer cinematic poetry, the music and everything was awesome.

But i had to go with Venom, NON of the transformations, even Sandman's gave me the goosebumps or giddyness i got when i saw Venom born on the big screen.

I know the score just completely amplified the feeling. It's one of the reasons I chose this, even over my favorite character's transformation(Venom).

yup, but Venom's was great too, it reminded me of the comics and the 90's very good work, and its dramatic score was great aswell

I know, Venom's transformation is actually more tied with Sandman's for me. The deciding factor for me to vote was that Sandman's was longer.
Venom's music theme is excellent in the movie, but a lot of people don't even know he has one.

I liked all the transformations in the series, obviously the greatest transformation belongs to Spider-Man, since he is the hero of the series.

But I'll vote for the villains sake, and I'll say that the Sandman was probably the greatest villain transformation. Overall, it was done very well. The impressive CGI, the music and overall mood of the scene. So I voted for the Sandman scene, just because.

However, for me personally, the Venom transformation scene is my favorite of the series, me being a Venom fan, it's a given. But I just found the entire bell tower scene very powerful, the struggle between Peter Parker and the extraterrestrial symbiote which was corrupting him made for a very intense scene. And when Parker frees himself of the entity, and the thing that should not be, grabs a hold of Eddie Brock, it brought me back to the beginnings of my Venom obsession. The intensity of the scene mixed with music, and the wonderful acting from Tobey and Topher was excellent.

I voted Venom, I don't care if you hated him in the film or not, you can't deny Eddie's transformation was extremely badass.

I loved everything about Venom in Spidey3, except that he had to go and die. Atleast his death was pretty bad@$$, right.

Voted New Goblin transformation. Harry is my favorite character. I really like the scene close to the end of Spider-Man 2 when Harry is thinking about Peter being Spider-Man and stumbles upon his father's lab as the Green Goblin theme song echoes down the shelves of pumpkin bombs. t: That, and after he finally becomes the New Goblin in the third movie he's got some really awesome gadgets. We see that chrome Goblin mask in his lab, then he has that hoverboard and paintball mask and sword and stuff, he's just a cool villain.

^He was just a very good character that was acted out very well by Franco, I honestly really get choked when Harry dies at the end of SM3 saving Peter's life, Harry got the best arc in 3 IMO.

I think I prefer Peter's original transformation into Spider-Man the most. Sandman's transformation is just weird. A bunch of sand particles enter his skin and BANG; his DNA mutates.

It's such a terrible, terrible transformation. I'm not even going to start with the fluctuating weight mass, which was completely ignored by those peeps in white coats...

Like I said, I enjoy Peter's transformation into Spider-Man the most. I mean, before the guy goes to sleep he's as skinny as a rake, and when he wakes up he's totally ripped. That's a classic scene, right there.

Spiderman's one was great but Venom just beat it out for me.

As for Sandman, werent those guys working on something to do with particle's, thats why what happens with Sandman happens the way it does.
