I've made a couple of favorite of the trilogy threads (Back to the Future trilogy, Mission: Impossible trilogy, etc), and I thought about making a favorite Bourne trilogy thread. Now, I know we still have The Bourne Ultimatum thread and the Bourne 4 thread, but we don't have one of these floating around yet. In short, you know the drill. Vote for your favorite. Choose, vote, and discuss.

My favorite of the trilogy is The Bourne Supremacy, hands down. I love it for many reasons. Because it is the second movie, things can only escalate. There is no origin/introductions, and no conclusion. John Powell's score is also the best in this movie. I thought this movie was superior to the first and the third. I like the shaky-cam, and I felt that Paul Greengrass had superior direction than Doug Liman. Supremacy is one of my favorite movies ever.

The Bourne Supremacy. Great film. Wasn't a fan of Bourne Ultimatum.

The Bourne Identity.
The action scenes weren't ridiculously shot, and the initial mystery of Bourne's memory-loss combined with the Marie/Bourne love story really helped pull me in.

Supremacy was pretty good as well, but the way the action was handled bothered me.

Ultimatum was good, but I never really felt interested in it. Basically, the question in Ultimatum is "Who WAS Bourne?" which is not as interesting as "Who IS Bourne" was in the first film, nor as interesting as the revenge/getting-to-know-why story of Supremacy.

Same here. I thought it was the weakest of the trilogy.

Me too, i dont know why people rate it so highly.

Anyway, The Bourne Identity is still the best one for me, it had the best story and it was the freshest. The next two didnt really take the story enough places after Identity IMO, and the Bourne/ Marie dynamic was the best in the series. Identity is definately the best one IMO.

I love Supremacy's ending..

Jason is watching through the window, and tells Pam to get some rest. She looks like she needs it.

I liked aspects of all of them, but I would probably say Identity

For me, it's basically a tie between Identity and Ultimatum. I felt kind of like Supremacy was a bit of a weak link, but it was still good.

Supremacy was my favorite. I liked Greengrass's camera work. Damon's intensity as Bourne was outstanding, and the storyline picked up and continued threads from the previous film expertly. Powell's score was outstanding, particularly Bim Bam Smash and Atonement.

I will agree Bourne Ultimatum was the weakest of the 3, but I still found it to be an outstanding film, one of my favs of '07.

I'd give TBI an 9, TBS a 10, TBU an 8.

The first, Liman's directing is far better than Greengrass' not to mention it was a all round better film.

Definately Ultimatum. The non-stop action is awesome and brilliantly directed, shot and edited.

By the way, I think all the big shots (for lack of a better term) are very well cast in this trilogy: Chris Cooper, Brian Cox, David Strathairn, Albert Finney, all very respectable actors.

i liked Identity the best. to me, it felt the most authentic and real...even the car chases. one of the biggest things that bothered me about the sequels was that the action was kind of hard to follow. it wasn't as bad in Ultimatum, but all the quick cut editing really killed it for me. i liked the sequels, but they're less fulfilling to me than the first.

Ultimatum, thought it had some pretty intense moments.

Loved Identity, disliked Supremacy, loved The Bourne Ultimatum even more.

Supremacy.

Also have to hand it to Bourne for being the last "solid" trilogy in a list of lackluster 3rd ones.

X-Men, Spider-Man, Pirates, Terminator, Blade, Shrek.

Ultimatum was the best for me . The Bourne vs Desh fight was great.

Gotta say i'm surprised my pick, Identity, is winning, last few years its all been about Supremecy and Ultimatum, but its good to see i'm not the only who still thinks Identity is the best one.

the first one was great absolutely perfect; the other two were terrible IMO
