WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross recently updated his Questions and Answers section on Jrsbarbq.com Below are his responses:

On who The Undertaker should face for his last WrestleMania match:
In today's climate the WWE star to try and beat Taker at WM in Taker's last match would likely be Cena.
On Hulk Hogan's future and potential involvement in WrestleMania XXX:
I blogged that Hogan should be a part of WM30 months ago. WWE needs attractions to compliment their regular roster. I think, if properly positioned in a believable role that Hogan can help create more awareness for WM30.
What should have been match of the year over Rock vs. Cena:
I thought Punk vs. Undertaker and Punk vs. Lesnar belonged on the ballot.

Classic Promo duel between Jim Cornette and Dusty Rhodes:

Both of which didn't work since Rock went full-time to make movies, and Austin was getting mad at creative and walked out on the company.

Anyone want to argue whether they made the right call to do Rock vs Hogan instead Austin vs Hogan? From a match standpoint, Rock was the better choice because he could sell for Hogan. I'm not sure Austin could do that due to his limitations. And who knows what the political situation was between Austin and Hogan.

Yup but you see how Vince treats wrestlers that fit the mold he has an affinity for regardless of the facts in front of him?

Former WWE & ROH and current NJPW Superstar Shelton Benjamin Tweeted the following:

"As of tonight Im taking time off from wrestling to take care of a long neglected medical issue. So I assure you all I will not be at the R.R"

"Basically I have a pinched Ulner nerve in my elbow that causes lose of sensation, motor function, muscle atrophy & eventually use of my hand"

"So before things get bad i gotta take quick pause. But after 12 years and no major injuries proWrestling this I consider very minor"

Oh of course. He's been doing that since the 80s. Piper told a story about Hogan and Vince attempting to bury him when he started getting reactions nearly as loud as Hogan.

Backstage, Bryan's big moment was a hot topic. A source said, "The whole backstage was in awe. Vince McMahon loves Bryan."
He has a funny way of showing it.

We all know Vinnie Mac loves his muscle clean cut cookie cutters and not vanilla midget technical wrestling bearded vegan hippies.

Either that or he's saying he "loves" Bryan now that he sees how transcendent Bryan can potentially become.

just finished watching genesis......well part one anyway
tna is borrowing alot from wwe atm

Dixie's heel stable is a mixed bag, besides bad influence and roode, it's kind of a joke
i know people think orton has been booked weak since summerslam but atleast when he unified the titles he beat cena alone, it took a slew of run ins wcw style for magnus to beat aj styles, that makes him look far weaker than orton does

I honestly think Roman Reigns should take the Top Heel position for the future because 9 times out of 10 as a face, he'd get neutered the way Cena, Sheamus, and Kevin Nash were neutered when they turned face and became Boy Scouts. Last thing I wanna see is Roman telling Samoan stories, cracking poop jokes, and kissing babies or having to cut his hair so he fits Vince's mold.

If they built Reigns up well then he could be top heel to Bryan as a top face until they decide to PROPERLY develop Big E Langston by letting him use his NXT persona. His theme already fits the "Master of the 5 count" gimmick so they should just give it back to him.

Anyway, Reigns as top heel to Bryan's top face would definitely be amusing to see. Though Bryan has beaten Roman Reigns on free TV before.

It's quite funny to think that the Right to Censor would be pretty redundant in today's modern product. :hehe:

RTC was awesome. Loved Ivory

Ah, yes...Ivory! :hrt:

She still looks amazing, even at 52.

Right to Censor was a great way to recycle guys who were floundering and stale into something really interesting, if only for a short time.

So this was my Hell in a Cell card in my WWE 2K14 Universe. Winners in bold:

Hell in a Cell for the Intercontinental Championship - Christian (c) vs Alberto Del Rio
Falls Count Anywhere - Sheamus vs Batista
WWE Championship - Jack Swagger (c) vs Antonio Cesaro
Submission - Edge vs Randy Orton
Falls Count Anywhere - The Rock vs Brock Lesnar
WWE Tag Team Championship '02-'10 - Heartbreak Foundation (Bret/HBK) (c) vs 3MB (Slater/McIntyre)
Hell in a Cell for the World Heavyweight Championship - CM Punk (c) vs Chris Jericho

Pretty Mean Sisters > Aces and 8s

The RTC were topical because of the opposition the WWF was facing from family values groups at the time.

The modern equivalent would be CM Punk and Daniel Bryan leading a stable of internet smarks.

Even though I'm not that excited to see him return tomorrow night, I have to admit that this is still one of the best entrance themes ever.

I just hope Batista doesn't try to turn any of the divas in his road beef...Especially not Renee Young or the NXT women. I'd hate to see them get fired for not answering to his mating call.
