🇺🇸 Fell Out of a Coconut Tree, It's Kamalot: The Kamala Harris Thread

US News
She didn't run to his right, she did go unusually centrist and yet a lot of voters still seemed to think she wasn't restrictive enough.

She could have run more on Biden's Parole in Place program, very moderate, reasonable policy, pathway to legalization for if people have been here 10 years and married to US Citizens, that could have been appealing to more people while not being disliked by people except those who would never vote her or any Democrat, though the program was blocked by courts, but otherwise a big part of the loss was people thinking immigration/the border was a mess and Democrats especially at the top were to blame for it.

This IMO, is ridiculous. How do you run to the right of someone who says they are going to use the police to round up and deport all "illegal" immigrants, strongly hints that he won't distinguish much from "legal" and "illegal, supported a "Muslim Ban", has Stephen Miller as his go to guy on immigration policy, etc.?

Look I get that people are looking for reasons Harris lost and it was a little bit of a lot of things (men being a major factor), but statements like this should embarrass people enough that they don't put them out there for public consumption.

Just think before you write. OK?
