🇺🇸 Fell Out of a Coconut Tree, It's Kamalot: The Kamala Harris Thread

US News
Who knows? Maybe they are just waiting to see how things fall. With a Pelosi endorsement, I don't think Jeffries will be far behind (or Schumer). I'm not surprised congressional leaders are taking a "little" more time as they have a constituency to discuss things with, but, folks, it's only been one day since Biden dropped out and Harris has racked up an impressive group of endorsements. Beyond that, no one else has even thrown their name out there.
Come on you're waiting for Michelle. We all know. :o

Normally I wouldn't care about Ball after her selling out, but Ryan Grim is co-hosting.

I'm sorry to break it to the Dems that West Virginia is unlikely to ever go Blue.

During the last presidential election I watched a news report about the impact the ACA had on Appalachia. All of the folks interviewed, many who saw a dentist for the first time in their lives due to the ACA, were staunch supporters of the guy who promised to get rid of it.

Wish I could post it, but David Doel is having a field day with the Fox News meltdown.

These are the same people who, when polled, state that they love and support the ACA, but staunchly oppose Obamacare.

Mark Kelly is getting some love along with Shapiro and Pete. I'm going to have to point out Pete was a failed mayor to a college town who couldn't win a higher office in Indiana and tried to fail upwards by running for POTUS and pulling a gay Obama outsider campaign. There are legitimate reasons why he shouldn't be VP other than his sexual orientation.

Not a huge fan of Pete, though somewhat willing to accept it just on the thought of him ripping Vance to shreds in the VP debate. Kelly is a great choice, but way, way too valuable as AZ senator.

Can his seat be appointed by the Governor or is it a special election?

For Senators, they are appointed a replacement until a special election can happen. McCain pulled some bull**** so his replacement had near a year in the Senate till the special election. But luckily, they still lost.

Don't forget about standing in front of a few NCAA athletes one time:

When you say, entirely? I see her, but this post makes it sound somehow she is blocking the entire group and no one can see anyone but here, seems to be grasping at straws with that post

Man, looking back over the past month, it’s crazy the series of events that happened which got us to where we are currently, and how the things we thought were going to work in Trump’s favor and screw us, like the assassination attempt, actually ended up working in the Dems and our favor. It’s insane. Who would’ve thunk?

I’ve been so anxious, and now I’m the most hopeful I’ve been in a while, maybe since Biden winning the last election, maybe in my entire lifetime. (I was a dumb young Conservative when Obama was elected, which is why I don’t count that).
Sean Hannity chose her laugh and her support of Medicare for All as the most vile things she's done.
Scraping the bottom of the barrel. Oh, he scared. :hehe:

Kamala has apparently rejected meeting with Netanyahu when he's in DC this week.

In reality, she will not be that different than Biden in terms of relations with Israel. But she knows better than to be as visibly supportive as Biden has been.
I give her credit for having some political instincts when it comes to bombing children. Something Biden didn't consider when trying to court the youth vote.
