🇺🇸 Fell Out of a Coconut Tree, It's Kamalot: The Kamala Harris Thread

US News
Not sure what you mean by that. My understanding is that Trump has until sometime in August to file his response. If the court upholds the dismissal, they it's dead. At least that's how I understand it.

Cannon dismissed the case based on Clarence Thomas' argument about the legality of the special counsel appointment. Even if the 11th Circuit ruled in Jack's favor, Trump would just appeal it up to Thomas. We know what he'll do with it.

Even if that were so, and it's not a fact yet, the DoJ could still go after Trump (EDIT: not using a special prosecutor) without putting him in double jeopardy (or so I believe). In any case, yes, I know we're talking about the SCOTUS, but I'm not entirely sure the rest of the rightwing court would all go along with overturning precedent.

Those 17% undecided black voters are morons.

Pretty much like all undecided voters.

That's not how the supervision of the districts works. Clarence cannot kill the case by himself. The 11th has been fairly consistent in slapping down Cannon's bull****. If it was the 5th, it would be a different story. Its just going to be dragged out for years.

My brother had a interesting trip to the grocery store here in Columbus Saturday, he saw a guy pull into a veterans only space (sign was missing), his mini van had the stick figure family on the back, but instead of stick figures they were AR-15s and handguns (kinda can tell what kind of guy this tool is), he and his Karan wife got out, he had tattoos all over his arms and a "Make America Great again" shirt on, so my brother goes in to a different side of the store and as he is shopping he heard a chant of "Kamala, Kamala, Kamala!" break out on the other side of the store, a few minutes later, he heard someone yell "Traitor!!", he was like, well, time to go, lol, so he checks out and as he is walking past a Columbus Police officer doing special duty security in full uniform, an older white lady walked up to the officer and said "You going to do anything about that?" the officer, never looked up from his phone, calmly said "his savior will save him" and it was all my brother could do from busting out laughing, so i am surprised just how much as changed since Kamala became the candidate, even here in Ohio.
That is pretty freaky. Nothing like that happening around me like that.

It's not dead. Jack Smith has already filed an appeal he will likely win. It will only die if Trump wins the election.

And short of legal funds.....

Something that's been somewhat lost in recent discussions is that Trump HAS to win this election because of his legal issues. I wonder how his own, narcissistic thoughts will adversely affect run for (his own) freedom.

If he loses won't he create more legal problems for himself that add on top of the existing ones by inciting another insurrection? There's no way that won't happen again.

Trump: Tim Walz cares only about lawlessness and let ANTIFA thugs riot and destroy Minneapolis and begged me to send over the National Guard to stop it.

Does Harris get the much coveted Taylor Seift endorsement?
