^ I particularly like the Nova bust.
But I prefer Mole Man more on the rotund side.
Galactus looks like he's hit the SlimFast, too. :woot:

That Bowen Surfer is sweet.

^ Nice.
I just realized my three favorite comics characters all smoke cigars:
Ben Grimm, Howard the Duck and Albert from Pogo.

Yeah I found that Nova bust interesting too. :cwink:

And I think that Big G statue was commissioned shortly after he decided not to eat the earth on his first visit.

It was a very rough time for the Devourer. :woot:

I love the Silver Surfer one.....I would actually buy that one I think.....the Nova one is um..........................interesting...................yeah..........that's the word....

If you go to the article from the link... it explains it all, including how the author put together that cover.

The author puts together all kinds of cool mock covers like that.
Dial B For Blog is like a comics nostalgia candy store!

I'm learning how to post things that I scan. I gotta get my Marvel Stamp books posted with that great mid seventies take on the art. As cheap as it was that was one of my favorite Christmas presents.

Then I'm going to post my Marvel thumb nail comics. I've kept them all these years without opening them (as the add from Lone Star comics advised us to do)

Some of the technical end of things still gives me grief.

Here's an odd one I found using image search.
Anyone know what this was or when it was published?

Can you give us a closer look at it? Or a way to blow it up?

I blew it up a bit but I don't think it helped much.
The only thing I know about it is the year: 1969. That was in the image title.

Ah, Grog. I was hoping you would chime in once we transformed this into a memorabilia thread. You certainly have an outstanding collection of things FF.
Please feel free to expound upon any FF item.

I'm sure everyone would love to see your terrific FF collectibles page, if you'd care to post a link :yay:

Wow, I really dig these. Check out that Johnny Quest-ish theme and incidental music. And dig the voices of Vic Perin (control voice from original Outer Limits) as the Silver Surfer- Don Messick (Scooby Doo) as Johnny , and the great Ted Cassidy (Lurch -Addams Family) as the voice of Galactus. Too cool.

As simplistic as these are they stay closer to the source material than the movie. I enjoy these. Fun.
