They are shooting a sequel to "The Punisher" in Montreal, and one of the scenes is filmed in the abandoned Brittain Hall of John Abbot College here in Ste-Anne. I get to walk by the set on my way to the bus -- I think it is used mostly for stunts. There's a couple of "Brad Street Hotel" signs on the building.

The downtown filming locations are marked by signs saying "Baja".

there is a movie being filmed @ abbott. i heard punisher 2 as well. one of the buildings has been converted to look like a hotel lol, it is confirmed

the producer's of the new punisher (i think its the producer), son goes to my school, he's from BC, pretty chill guy. i saw them filming, it was pretty cool to see 2 NYPD cop cars zooming by

He's a bouncer at Rosalies apprently..

they're apparently casting a lot of blacks and hispanics for gang member roles, they need something like 300 guys.

We had annoying people offering stuff and services at the studio when they would see the "The Punisher: War Zone" sign. So, they changed the production name to avoid having people coming up and disturbing us at the art dept. They are shooting in one of the "old school building". The interior is amazing, too bad its not in use. So much potential.

Hell yeah, action will be key. If the action is mind blowing, action fans will overlook the flaws. Action movies are a tough sell at the box office, but if done right it'll be a hit.

I just found out on a site that the cegep I graduated from last summer is the set for some fight scene for the Punisher!
Between the 19th and the 28th of this month, Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, and John Abbott College will have the Punisher filming there.
My girlfriend still goes to the school, and somehow she failed the mention this... Yet she's the one that bought me my Punisher shirt... What the hell, I wonder if it's incognito, this is the first big movie to be filmed there!
Well she's got a digicam, and I've got a few friends still there who probably do as well, hopefully we can get something out of this!!!!

Good luck to your girl and your friends on getting the first Ray pic in Punisher gear. I think with the possibility of photos of the Ray or the cast soon surfacing on the net they'll release an official one any day now.
