I got a PS3 about a month ago and was wondering if people had some good recommendations for me.

So far I only have Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare, Gran Torismo 5(came with system), God of War Collection, God of War III and Batman Arkham Asylum.

I've been out of gaming for a number of years now, so I'm behind on all the crazy **** that has come out in the past.

Go crazy on the PS store and download the demos tog et a feel for the types of games that are available. Both Uncharted games and MGS4 are must haves for any PS3 owner. I'd also reccommend Infamous, Heavy Rain and LBP2. Try those demos first if you are unsure as they each have one

but i've been so pre-occupied with Marvel vs Capcom 3, Dead Rising 2, and playing FIFA online that i keep overlooking them

I got a PS3 Slim for Christmas and the one thing that bothers me, is that it is a bit shaky in the vertical position. So a finally decided to get a stand and went with PS3 Move Power Stand. I have to say it is awesome. It is a bit expensive, but you get so much for the price.

You have spots for 2 DS3's, 2 Move controllers, and 2 Navigation Controllers. It also gives you 4 extra USB ports. It has a built in USB cable that plugs into you PS3 and it syncs all of the controllers at once to the system. The area that the PS3 sits in is soft rubber so it won't scratch it, but fits very snug. It isn't going anywhere. Just wanted to give my thoughts on it and recommend it to anyone looking for a stand with extras.

There are some out there that are cheaper, but this has so much bang for the buck. It has an on/off button as well. It's a nice touch, because I won't have to unplug it when I am not using it. Just press the button and your good to go. The charge lights are red when charging and turn blue when fully charged. Like I said, it's pretty awesome and I really recommend it.
