Damn.... i'd heard about this show... but never gotten around to looking at it... Spent all today watching the 10 episodes... Quite surprised to see Picardo in the 10th......and just how serious that one ended....

Fantastic show.... definitely going to keep an eye out when it comes back on September 21st......

Good so far. I'm kind of bummed they changed the format of the beginning with the funny upbeat music preceding the finding of the victims.

they did? i hadnt noticed!

i still hear the same music in my head.

I stopped watching. Every episode is EXACTLY the same. Murder. Sexual joke by Castle. Lady cop rolls her eyes. They get the guy. Castle's mom dances around somewhere. That isn't the guy. Castle figures it out. Castle gets saved by lady cop. Pearl of wisdom from the daughter.

..I can't even remember the lady cop's name lol...

Beckett.

and wow, there def is a formula to the show. lol but i still love it!

Sure it's formulaic but it's fun. There's something endearing about him that's very endearing and funny. The show itself isn't cerebral and it doesn't take itself seriously. It's just fun

It’s the news Castle fans have been waiting for: ABC has picked up the Nathan Fillion dramedy for a full, 22-episode season!
The second-year show has been holding onto a decent chunk of its Dancing with the Stars lead-in, so the back-nine order wasn’t a total surprise. Still, it’s nice to get the official confirmation!

This week's episode was great. I loved the ending so much, I almost got all teary-eyed!

Second season just started here. Ryan Reynolds in an Astroid movie as the triangle... Effin' hilarious.

Here's something cool

HEAT WAVE by "Richard Castle" is #44 on the USA TODAY bestseller list today. And apparently Nathan Fillion is doing book signings as Castle!

That is sheer genius!

"What are you suppose to be?"

"Space Cowboy."

"Didn't you wear that like five years ago?"

"I like it."

:awesome:

Couldn't have played out more beautifully than it did!

"Didn't you wear that like five years ago? Let it go!"

Apparently, the catalyzer was also in the Mal, I mean, "space cowboy" scenes:

Oh, and another easter egg: The actor who plays Esposito was in Generation Kill, and the soldier outift he had on was obviously his outfit for GK:
