Just looked her up, I have no idea who I was thinking of because I'm not familiar with the character at all. All i can think of was that I got the name from a black panther villains suggestion thread, but even then i'm wondering if i've confused her with someone else

I have never associated Diamondback with Black Panther. She's almost exclusively a Cap character.

I love this show, the chemistry between Castle & Beckett over the course of seven seasons has been explosive, so happy their finally married and the honeymoon episode was hilarious. I loved Kate in the Black cowgirl outfit.

It was also funny when that guy called Kate Mrs. Castle and she responded that she's Mrs. Beckett. I was kinda hoping she'd take his last name. This show has paralleled "Bones" for me throughout the years and just like Booth and Brennan, being married is as far as the changes go. Oh well.

It's no different than Lois Lane keeping her maiden name "Lane" for journalist profession, She's married to Clark. But she still goes by the name Mrs. Lane.

Cool seeing Espo get center stage tonight, I hope they follow through with him and Lanie. Now they just need to get tech girl her own ep.

Good episode this week. I guess the transit cop was only passing through and wasn't going to be anyone significant to Espo. I thought they might be setting up a new love interest if Lanie wasn't going to be with him ultimately.

It was cool how they took out the guy with the dead man switch.

She was a plot device to push Espo nearer Lanie... The comments in the car between Ryan & Espo kinda highlight that to me TBH.

It was a good episode, nice to have the rest of the cast getting some screentime.

The ending with Castle's jokes was hilarious

"I'm living my own action movie, this is the best night ever!"

This episode was so much fun, especially given I grew up in the era of those types of action films. The parody of The Expendables was a good natured rib.

Next week is the mid-season finale and it's only the second time the show has done a Christmas ep!

I was wondering what they were going to do with the little twist at then end of the Christmas ep, Castle becoming a P.I. for a couple of eps should be fun, my guess is they find out the guy killed in custody was not killed by the mobster and thus Castle is reinstated as a "consultant" for the NYPD.

I was a little surprised at the route they went with Espo and Lanie, but overall a good holiday ep!

I thought Espo was thinking of settling down just a couple of episodes ago when he was trapped on that train with that female cop. And it was then that it seemed he had decided he wanted to be with Lanie. And now he decides he doesn't want it like that?

Maybe he should go seek out that policewoman if nothing is going to come of Lanie.

I think I actually like the development. Not every relationship works out, and it keeps things more interesting, instead of having 3 perfect and super happy couples.

They should do more with that girl who works with the computers and the surveillance at the precinct.
